Absolute scam of a company. Broker it out, so they come 5 hours late and try to double your quite saying it was invoiced wrong. Stay clear at all costs. I will be proceeding with bbb claim until my refund is returned.

I recommend NOT using this company. I had a great experience with them, over the phone, when they would answer. They planned to come to my house to do a walk through to give me an accurate quote. I took off work early which cost me to lose money. That’s the last thing a single mother needs when she is getting ready to move somewhere, where her rent is doubling, and she needs a moving company!!! Don’t use this company and don’t trust the flirtatious but empty promised men on the other end of the line!!! Worthless!!
This company on Waterlick Road in Lynchburg Virginia is a joke. I set up 2 weeks in advance to move some furniture from one house ( directly across the street from their location ) to another about 8 miles away. I had to jump through hoops to get off work to accommodate when they could do it. They never showed up, even after calling the day before to confirm. We hired American Moving and Storage to relocate all of our belongings from Lynchburg, VA to Florida, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. Our movers, Tevin and Daniel, were outstanding from start to finish. They had to load two full trucks from our storage units, and each of them drove a truck all the way to Florida on their own. Somehow, they managed to get everything packed, transported, and delivered to our door within 24 hours — truly incredible!
This moving company takes the stress out of moving. They are always prompt, respectful, good communicators, and have positive attitudes. In my most recent move, I had a fragile pottery kiln that Tevin, Kylon, and Eric handled with the utmost care. They were highly efficient and friendly. Rick Rau is also a delight to work with. Highly recommend American Moving & Storage!
The men did a great job packing and then loading the van. They packed the van like a jigsaw puzzle. Everything fit neatly and squarely into one truck. Daniel is an exceptionally good employee. He was super careful unloading. Overall, good service and value. I recommend.
Awesome company, great price and everything was straight forward. Highly recommend using them if you’re moving in or out of state
