In their own words
Please stay away from this moving company!!!I really regret choosing AMR moving for so many reasons. Dorian the owner will not answer his phone, text, or email. Once you pay that's it. The 3 guys we used were supposed to be "the best movers" they have. That must be a joke. We were moving from a small apartment downtown tampa to .9 miles away. One bedroom set, and typical apartment stuff. We were quoted it should take 2-3 hours.
Continuation from Tom Martinez review: He would have been fired for posing as a professional packer without payment for such a pitiful attempt to protect valuables. It doesn't stop there, Mr. Wysucki charges the movers with intentionally delaying his move and milking the clock.
If I can give a zero I would. We brought 2k worth of items. Trusting the General manager , he advised us to use there reputable movers American Most Reliable mover,(AMR).Apparently , they work together for years. Side note, Ashley doesn’t do delivery for clearance items. Back to the story ….. As soon as it was our scheduled delivery day!! It was a Day Of Hell for lack of better words. We waited 7hrs for our stuff!! Didn’t arrive until 7:30pm.
What you failed to mention is that you purchased floor model clearance items. One item was never purchased and you thought it was missing. Not our error. We bent over backwards for you, for an error that was not ours and got nothing but resistance from you.
Two points to this review. First, the guys that came out to unload were great. Very respectful, did everything requested, assembled bed, really did a great job and would hire the moving team in heartbeat. The issue, the front office. They are a bait and switch. I had U-haul small trailer to unload and knew it would be a quick effort. Called and emailed and AMR front office confirmed the rate was $89 for the first TWO hours. The two hours included 1 hour for travel. I had no issue with that, upfront expectations.
I called Saturday to book a time for the following weekend. After reviewing options, I called back to book. No answer, no problem left them a message. Called them again 3 more times that day (called both their 813 and 727 numbers) and left another message. Called them the following day (yesterday) several times and again left several messages. Also sent them an email last night.
I'm sorry that you were not able to get a hold of us when we are closed. I did receive your messages that you left on Saturday at 2:44pm; 8:21pm; 8:24pm. We sent you a email with our hours of operation which are Saturday & Sunday 9am-12noon and Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.
THIS COMPANY SHOULD BE CALLED AMERICA'S MOST UNRELIABLE MOVING COMPANY! YOU COULDN'T EVEN FIND THEM ON YELP AND I'M SURE THAT'S BECAUSE THEY HAD TOO MANY COMPLAINTS! FIRST OFF THEY WILL QUOTE YOU FOR 3 HOURS THEN TAKE 7! NEXT THEY WILL ARRIVE LATE AND WRAP EVERYTHING YOU OWN IN SARAN WRAP BECAUSE THEY SAY THEY ARE LIABLE FOR DAMAGES! THIS ONLY EXTENDS THE TIME THEY TAKE TO MOVE AND THEY KNOW IF THEY BREAK ANYTHING THEY WILL DO NOTHING ABOUT IT!
My response is long. I will put half on Tom Martinez review, and the other on his partner Derek Wysucki review, since it is pertaining to the same move: AMERICA'S MOST RELIABLE MOVERS has been in business since 2007 providing impeccable moving services to the community up to our current date.
This was not my first move with movers, however it was my worst experience. It took more time for 3 guys to move my small amount of items (1 bedroom) than it did 2 guys in my previous moves. 3 hours total, should have been done in 2 hours based on my previous moves with more items. They provided my with a two hour window for them to arrive and start loading my things.
Horrible delivery experience. Matter brothers outlet uses this company for deliveries. First thing through the door, before they would deliver the furniture, they wanted me to sign a liability clause. Photo added of clause. Basically, they can damage your home/stuff, and not take responsibility for it. I refused to sign, and they proceeded with the delivery anyway. They were rushed and rude. I had to watch them closely to prevent damage, which reinforced my decision to not sign liability clause.
Since I had surgery a week before moving, I hired AMR to load my family's belongings into the moving trailer. Movers were friendly. However, a 3-hour estimate turned into over 6 + hours: they took frequent breaks, and they didn't utilize hand trucks or the trailer's loading ramp, all of which seemed to slow down the process quite a bit. Upon unloading, we discovered some of our property - about $1,500 worth - was damaged.

The same method, applied to the four and five star reviews. Most movers are praised for the same handful of things, so what is missing here is often as telling as what is present.

In their own words
I work at USF St. Petersburg. When our long-time contracted movers were sold, I was worried about whether a different approved vendor would be as efficient. On Friday, I found out I didn't need to be concerned. America's Most Reliable Movers were great! They were right on time, and Diana and the three extremely friendly guys who moved everything were careful to make sure every desk, filing cabinet, chair and box was delivered to the correct office and/or lab.
Tobias and Larry were excellent throughout the whole process!! I purchased a couch on Sunday and had it delivered on Monday. Everything was quick and efficient with no issues whatsoever. Tobias and Larry had excellent communication and coordination from pre-delivery, the actual delivery, and ensuring the couch was positioned exactly how I wanted it. They both were very careful to not damage anything or scratch the floors and walls.
AMR Movers helped deliver our new couch so quickly! The three movers we had were: Kendrick, Zantavious and Gabe. These guys were amazing. They spent so much extra time helping us out with our moving/delivery needs. They were polite, professional and wonderful to work with! Great pricing and just phenomenal from start to finish. I cannot recommend them enough! We are very lucky to have them in the Twin Cities.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sept 14th, 2024 Update review from yesterday - I can’t speak highly enough about America's Most Reliable Moving Company! After a long and exhausting moving day, we realized that our sleeper sofa hadn't been assembled correctly. Without hesitation, the owner, Dorian, along with his fantastic team members, Alekos and Denixon, returned the very next day to fix the issue. Their dedication to customer satisfaction is truly remarkable.
