The rating breakdown
7 of the 45 ratings in Google’s published star breakdown for AmeriMOVE are one or two star.
Worked out from 45 ratings. That is enough to publish but few enough that one more review moves it noticeably, so read it as a hint rather than a measurement.

In their own words
We used AmeriMove to move from Tallahassee to Texas. Megan was very nice and the movers quickly loaded up our furniture. It was suppose to be in storage for about a month, which is what we told Megan when we decided to use their services and she said it would not be an issue. When we called to schedule a delivery date for our furniture, we were told that they did not have any drivers coming out to Texas for another 3 weeks.
Still waiting to receive our shipment that was supposed to be a door-to-door delivery from FL to MD. Originally packed on June 13; delayed getting inventory sheets to us the packing was subpar, with movers shrinkwrapping metal garage shelving with boxes on it and bending the legs of the shelving unit. Not hopeful that our items are going to be received in good condition, if we receive them anytime soon.
It's been 4 weeks plus since they picked up mystuff. Nobody can tell me where my stuff is or when I'll get it. This is the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with.
Good afternoon, Don. We are sorry to hear you are having a tough time with your move, but we are quite certain you are mistaking us for another company. We are a small family Allied agency in Tallahassee, FL and we have no record of a move in your name anywhere in our records.
I moved from Tallahassee end of March 2016 to Orlando area with 6 months storage in Tallahassee. It started ok, looks they are organized in packing and loading items with a check list, but truck was small for my furniture and end up packing it very very tight. On delivery, one piece of my two curios was missing glass to front door and light fixture, it was very expensive to fix, when I called about it, receptionist said they are not aware of it!!
The absolute worst. They showed up one day early without notification, packed everything so bad that a lot of our furniture got damaged. Unbelievable. The movers at our new home couldn’t believe how bad everything was packed.
Worst customer service I've ever experienced! Use ANYONE else but these scammers... they have the worst drivers/movers whom are all most likely working under the table.
What satisfied customers point to
The same method, applied to the four and five star reviews. Most movers are praised for the same handful of things, so what is missing here is often as telling as what is present.

Good Quality, Good Value, Professional & Responsive! AmeriMOVE is amazing! Everyone there is helpful! Fast, efficient, hardworking and will go above and beyond! This was the best moving experience I've had with movers. Sincerely, Maria from Chiron Capital Mgmt.
We moved twice in a period of 20 months and used AmeriMove both times. When we moved in December of 2022 it was our first major move in 35 years..... you can imagine the amount of accumulated "stuff". Meg was our initial contact with AmeriMove and was very responsive and professionl. Both Phil and Meg were extremely helpful with packing advice that ultimately saved space and therefore costs. I was very impressed with the professionalism of the packing crew.
Steve, The pleasure was all ours! You were fantastic to work with on all fronts, and we are very happy to have you back “home” here in Tallahassee! Sincerely, Team AmeriMOVE
When I hired this company to move all of my furniture out of my house they did an outstanding job! The doors to my house were narrow and we had a huge couch and they knew exactly what to do when getting it out of there. They also moved my Big Greeyn Egg grill and I was nervous about them moving it but once they started to move it they really knew what they were doing. They moved all of my stuff into the new house within a couple hours. Very fast and careful at the same time.
Hi Phil and Meg, Our stuff was delivered yesterday and we have already started to unpack and settle in to our new home. I wanted to take a moment to share a note of appreciation for everyone we have interacted with on this journey. I grew up in a military family and we moved around a lot, and most of the time we arrived with something missing, damaged, or delays. I was expecting to have to deal with some of those stressors along the way.
Thank you for the kind words and allowing us to assist you with your relocation. You were an absolute pleasure to work with, and we wish you all the best!
