ANC Movers - Vancouver & Portland

First off I was over charged. I was told $100 an hour and it turned into $140 and hour that supposedly was charged by accident, so they fixed it to $130 and hour instead lol. What a joke. Talking about they moved more than I had said which wasn’t true. They show up 30 mins late but because I went 15 mins over I get charged. They over charged me and the math said they owed me $$180 and all I got was $50.

We had a great experience with ANC moving a spinet piano and some other heavy items. Both Seth and Peter were fantastic to work with. We look forward to working with them again today to move items back. UPDATE: We had ANC come out to our home vs at my mother-in-laws and am still in shock that I haven't heard from the owner of the company after finding a crack in our flooring and brought this up to the lead person after they were done.

Do not use this company for your move. I had most all my furniture damaged even though I supplied 60 moving blankets for our move. Stuff was not wrapped well enough to prevent damage and it is very extensive. To top it off I am now also missing a very expensive computer tower. I have called both Peter and Jennifer several times to file a claim and go over the issues. Each time they tell me they will investigate and get right back to me but that never happens.

We hired ANC Movers to move the bulk of our home from Vancouver to Longview. The movers did a great job - it was arguably the hottest day of the year and they rocked it. There was some sort of mixup with charging us on the day of the move and we were told that they would contact us on Monday to complete the payment. We received a call later the following week letting us know that they were going to "run the charge through now." Fortunately, I asked how much the charge was because that information was not supplied.

Well said Jen N. Just more lies... As info, I filed complaints with the BBB and the Washington State Attorney Generals Office. You and others might consider doing the same. It could help potential/future victims make a better and more informed decisions. BE AWARE! ANC Movers Inc. (See BBB Complaint ID # 20832390) was horrible to work with. Their driver got stuck sideways in my driveway rather than back out.

Ive used ANC movers three times. One time to unload and two times to move apartments. The first transport was 1.5 miles away. They moved a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom in 4 hours. Est. $850. The sent a big truck the first time. The second time. I’m only moving buildings in the same complex. They sent a van (so disappointing) I moved from an 2 bedroom to a one bedroom. So less furniture and I paid just as much est $850. I was quoted $500.

Hired this company to move us in the pandemic, submitted and approved a quote for packing and moving online and over the phone. When they arrived, they told me, oh that quote was just for moving, and said they had to double the quote, despite the original stating it was for both services. Clearly attempting to take advantage of the pandemic moving urgency.

Unfortunately, my experience with ANC has been less than stellar. It started off very good, communication was good throughout the estimate and booking process. The day they packed the house went well, however after the truck was loaded and we started removing items from the truck it was very evident that the movers were very careless in loading our items. We had several pieces of furniture damaged from lack of protection or just having items stacked on one another that shouldn't have been.
