**UNPROFESSIONAL **We contacted them via Facebook to move take apart and assemble a pool table. We had purchased a used table and I advised them that I don't know anything about this table. They asked for pictures prior to the move and on providing them they still seemed confused about what kind of pool table which made me hesitant to go forward with them. I did anyway. On the day of the move they did not show up at the arranged time 6pm, they wanted it moved up to 1pm.
Thanks for taking time to share your thoughts First of all you were in desperate need to get it moved at last minute in “Cheapest price all over Ontario” Gave your words and we trusted instead of taking deposit and you tried to cancel last minute We have mover 1250 pool table successfully our…
Definitely don’t recommend. They moved a hot tub for me. Tub was purchased from a retired couple in phenomenal shape with no leaks, tub was dry underneath and running. After being moved, putting in place and filling the tub 3 of my jets all leaked. Owner told me I took to long to set up the tub and that his team was not the ones that damaged it. He then offered compensation but never did send me anything. Also kind of fishy with 1500 reviews it’s nothing but 5 stars?
We're truly sorry to hear about the damage that occurred during your move. We take great care to handle every item with the highest level of professionalism and attention. This is not the standard we strive to maintain for our Windsor moving services, and we want to make things right.
Anybody thinking of hiring these guys DO NOT DO IT!!!!! Stay free and clear. Find someone else no matter what kind of deal he wants to give you or how many times he calls and texts. He will not leave you alone. He matches another companies rates just to get the job. So we settled on a certain price per hour and $100 truck fee. At 9:45 pm the night before the move he wanted to push us 2 or 3 days we of course refused. Then he didn't get his way so he said to come to Chatham Kent he would require minimum 4 hours.
At first things were great but in the end the guys moving my stuff were rushing to get the job done. Broke my Fridge door, tossed everything they could in the garage without reading labels of what rooms to put the boxes into. Damaged my floor. Dropped lots of my stuff. Forced me to pay so they could leave without having time to review anything for damages or even to see if the truck was indeed empty. I would not recommend these movers. Had better experience with 2 men and a truck a few years ago.
They did a bad job. They damage our furniture. The guys had no experience. Just general labours lifting heavy stuff. Banging all of our expensive furniture. Climbing over it in the bins. If you have cheap stuff fine. But if you have an entire home of expensive furniture. Don’t use them.

Horrible experience - EDIT: not a fake review just because the account wasn’t in my name. Still would never recommend anyone this company because yall are the worst.

I couldn’t be happier with the service from Ancient Movers. The team was professional, punctual, and handled my belongings with great care. They worked efficiently, wrapping and protecting all of my furniture, and everything arrived in perfect condition. What really stood out was their communication — clear, friendly, and honest from the start, with no hidden costs or surprises. The crew made what is usually a stressful experience feel smooth and worry-free.

Ancient Movers made my recent move from Windsor to Mississauga (2-bedroom apartment to 2-bedroom apartment) far easier than I expected—especially as a first-time customer using movers. They were affordable, communicative throughout the process, and very professional. Two movers arrived right on time for loading. We had everything already disassembled and packed in boxes, and Mandip and Manjot did an excellent job stacking and organizing everything in the truck.
Thank you for taking the time to share such a detailed and thoughtful review. We’re very glad to hear that your Windsor to Mississauga move went smoothly and that the experience was professional, efficient, and stress-free—especially as a first-time customer using movers.
Our family moved to another city today. Based on an astounding number of positive reviews, we hired Ancient Movers for our move. Moving is always an extremely difficult, stressful, exhausting experience, yet somehow here we are days end and I feel compelled to write this review. Ancient movers sent the most incredible team to us: Guri, Rohit and Arinze. These gentlemen (and I do mean gentlemen) arrived on time, introduced themselves, and immediately set out to move us. Everything was handled with extreme care.
Used them again below is an update I had my hot tub moved recently and I honestly couldn’t be happier with how everything went. Akeem the Dream, Narinder, and Alain handled the entire move and they were absolutely amazing from start to finish. These guys were professional, respectful, and clearly knew exactly what they were doing. Moving a hot tub isn’t easy, but they made it look effortless.
We’re so glad to hear you had an amazing experience! Our team of professional movers is trained to handle heavy furniture carefully while protecting your space. Thank you for choosing our moving company, and we’re here anytime you need us!
