In their own words
Unprofessional service and severely damaged property—Do not hire. I paid $150/hr expecting professional movers, but EC Movers sent untrained students instead. Despite my explicit requests to wrap my items—especially my expensive leather sofa—they completely ignored my instructions and loaded everything unprotected. Because of their careless handling and lack of proper prep, multiple pieces of my property were damaged: Expensive Leather Sofa: Punctured and ripped leather surface.
Im giving these movers two stars because the manager tried to resolve some of the issues I had with them and I was please that he did try. Initially I had written a terrible review because the movers he sent me were awful. The had my family do most of the lifting and carrying the boxes into my second floor condo. They had my disabled husband help move our king sized mattress and treadmill when he’s not supposed to be lifting anything over 5 lbs.
I would give them a zero if I can because they never finish the job and whatever what was heavy they left at our old place and they stand at the top of the landing and throwing all the our bags with clothes and our blankets into basement and they wanted lot more money to finish the job.

I shopped around quite a bit here in Windsor and honestly, nobody came close to the price these guys offered. The owner was super easy to deal with; very responsive, clear communication, and just overall a great person to work with. On moving day, the team was right on time and handled everything with so much care. You can tell they really know what they’re doing; all my furniture and boxes were treated like their own. Not a single scratch or issue.

EC Movers is an outstanding moving company. They did an excellent job moving all of my belongings from one city to another. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
