Very VERY disappointing experience. While the movers were friendly and polite, the move itself was rushed and extremely unprofessional. Items were jammed into the trucks with little care, and almost every item they moved was damaged or broken. Several items were brand new and had never been moved before, so the damage was not pre-existing. When I raised concerns afterward, I received significant pushback and was told the damage could have already been there.

Super disappointed to see that Apex/Joey would write back and indicate that you have no record of completing a move for Jennifer Jones. Joey you have texted us both dozens of times. We have moved many many times and no company has come remotely close to causing as much damage as Apex did. It was abundantly clear that Apex had ZERO respect for our belongings as the number of damaged items was utterly staggering.

They told me they cannot move a small apartment in three hours for a budget price of $500 after giving me a quote. The first time we talked of anywhere between $450-$550 and now they changed their mind a day later I do not recommend this company buyers. Beware they might scam you for more money than it’s worth.

Blocked in the handicap stalls and visitor parking because they were too lazy to pull into the designated (and extended) moving parking area

We used Apex for a short move within Calgary for a one bedroom, which took 4 hours and we paid $140/hour. A highlight was excellent communication, as we needed to move the time last-minute and were able to change it. Alexei and Raul were polite, fast, punctual, and very professional and accommodating. They handled a large couch perfectly, which other movers had difficulty with. It felt like the amount I paid was fair, nothing was damaged and they were very careful with everything.

From the time I asked for the free quote to when the movers went out the door I was extremely impressed with Apex. There were some special circumstances related to move. After requesting the free quote I had started an email to give a few more details, but I had only typed a sentence or two before the owner called me. We talked about the move and he gave me a realistic quote range (which was accurate when we wrapped up). The deposit was extremely fair and he answered all of my questions.
Being an import from Ontario many moons ago we have moved more times than we care to count. This time was completely different after combing through the Google search for movers and calling half of them we found Apex. Let me tell you the 5 star rating is legit. This team is stellar. Top notch. Joey communicated the entire process, checked in prior to the move several times, was proactive, offered solutions, and was true to his quote, sent an incredible team to help us move. This is where they really shine ..

From start to finish, Joey and the team at apex did a fantastic job. Joey got in touch with me the same day I requested a quote, and was attentive without being pushy. He clearly outlined what information they needed, and gave clear and concise replies that built rapport with me right from the get go. They were a tad late on the start time, but the weather was absolutely awful, so it was hardly their fault. Dennis and Yoshi were both friendly and professional.
