Apple Moving Houston

Absolute worst moving experience of my life. We had used Apple about 6 years ago and they were fine. They accidentally cracked the glass in my front door. But no big deal. This time , a few weeks ago, was a nightmare. It all started when their lead man looked at me and said “You have a lot of junk!” I told him that we worked hard for our things and none of it is junk. He responded, “well I call it junk!” We were moving into a two story house in Waters Edge so we do have several rooms of furniture.

The move itself was okay… They lost a box of my nice kitchen knives and other good stuff. I’m in the middle of trying to fix this with them now. I will be back to update my review UPDATE: Apple Moving sent me an email stating “ after reviewing your claim, we owe you 33 dollars. As a good deed on our side, we will double that and make it 66 dollars “ I put my faith in these people to move my belongings in one of the most crucial times in a persons life.

I would not recommend. We had several pieces of furniture damaged and the crew tried to hide them by using furniture paint. They also dropped and broke a $2,000 piece and due to there insurance coverage will only pay $.60/lb so thanks guys you give me $120 and it cost me $2,000. Absolutely no response just emails basically saying take it or leave it.

Came in left trash in the apartment drinking and eating also came in late and almost tried to overcharge my mother for another hour when they was moving slow purposely

No pre-move in person survey, so took three trips, and would have gone with a company with a moving van vs. box truck had I known. Crew included one driver who was more concerned about getting tipped than disassembling and reassembling my $7000 Sleep Number bed which was thrown on top of one another (I specifically asked if movers knew how to move a Sleep Number bed and was told yes). Other two 'professional movers' did no read or speak ANY English and could not find the right room to place items consistently.

I had a move done Oct 26, 2022 from an apartment complex to a storage unit. I was so excited and happy about how fast and friendly the service was. From the time of getting a quote to completion of service. Everyone was friendly. Nothing was brought to my attention on the 26th and tipped all three men for the great service. I briefly looked over the storage unit and was pleased.

I want to emphasize that this company's performance has been absolutely unsatisfactory. I have given it a one-star rating as required by posting regulations. The consequences of my interaction with this company have been extremely negative. Even after eight months post-relocation, my damaged belongings are still unresolved. This negative review is entirely justified, and it is crucial for the company to seriously reconsider their actions.

I was scheduled three movers. The day of the move ONE adult and two YOUNG MEN came to move us. Young as as in one was 16 but what do you do the day of a move? They start moving it was all very fast I was honestly impressed at the speed but after I got to looking around multiple things were damaged. The 'insurance' they provide covers .60 per pound.
