I hired ASAP Movers for an in-town move on May 6, 2026. Everything up until the day of the actual move made me believe they were a legitimate moving company. Due to the lack of accountability and oversight by ASAP movers, I experienced a delay and damaged furniture resulting in over $600.00 of hotel accommodations and repair fees. Since the move, I have received terrible communication about the claims process to include sending a bogus website to submit a claim.
These people are scammers, save yourself the headache, go with someone else. Don't belive anything these people say, they quoted us 10k for our move, then tried to say it was an automatic 14k after they loaded the truck. Then drove off with our stuff and have been holding our stuff hostage for a month, demanding 14k just to release it to us. These people essentially stole everything we own, our 3 kids have been sleeping on air mattresses in an empty house.
It has come to our attention that serious accusations have been made against us, suggesting dishonesty and harm to a business’s reputation. These claims are not only entirely false but are also damaging and misleading. … More
Editing my review after delivery - The delivery team was anything but professional and highly disappointing. Of the three man crew that showed up, two were clearly amateurs hired off Craigslist that day. One showed up in flip flops and pajama pants. My items were not handled with care or respect, being dropped, dragged across the floor and heavy objects stacked on top of each leaving us to correct it after they had left.
Pick up was super late ,3 hours later than scheduled.Delivery was 3 days later,was originally next day.then they scratched antique mahogany furniture with no regards or apologies.and they barely spoke any English,and super pushy on Delivery for a tip.and my moving estimate was 1500.00 more which was a lie,as Delivery used half a truck ,pick up was a full truck charge.Dont use this company!!!

The reason they have so many 5-star reviews is the movers force you to write a review in front of them. I said I would do it later and he said "no do it now so I can take a picture for my boss." …
Didn't respond to my email or answer the phone when I called. Not sure how someone would go about booking their services.
