**UPDATE** Twice I’ve called the number listed below in the reply from Morgan Transfer and left my name and number for Amanda. My call still has not been returned. Less than a stellar experience with Cody and Manny of Morgan Transfer/A & E Relocation during my military PCS move. I’ve been through four military moves, and this was by far the worst experience I’ve had (which is saying something, given the reputation military moves already have). The crew appeared inexperienced and worked with very little efficiency.

AVOID THIS UNETHICAL COMPANY. This company has predatory practices. They failed to provide documentation. They change agreements without the consent of the consume while never providing documentation, they overcharge and refuse to do the right thing. I was charged $767.00 an hour while another party was charged $155.00 an hour for the SAME JOB! I complained but they refused to do the right thing. They falsified documents and changed rates without me signing then charged my account for the excessive charges.

The movers arrived early and were pleasant to work with. They moved the large furniture without issue but there were problems. They moved two lamp bases, but only one lampshade and no lightbulbs. I had to go back to the old place and search for the missing shade and lightbulbs in order to use the lamps. However, the biggest problem was the way they handled our flatscreen TV. It arrived with the upper right hand corner damaged (see photo) and now the screen is completely blank.

Not a single part of our move from Seattle to Bend, OR was performed the way we were told it would be. Packing date was cancelled the morning they were supposed to arrive, but we were told they would send extra movers to help the following day. Not only did they not send extra movers, they were late and were still packing the truck well after midnight. While the packers were sorta trying to do their best, it was clear they were rushed and as a result they overfilled boxes leading to a lot of damaged items.

I could write a novel how disastrous our experience was with Morgan Transfer. Both the office and moving crew were misleading and uncaring. The movers showed up late, left trash through the house, smelled like cigarettes, and deployed zero flooring and wall protection which resulted in damage to our physical house. Not to mention the large number of personal items damaged during transportation, which they force you to wait weeks for an inspector to visit and even longer after that to process the claim.
They sent out 1 guy for packing and 3 for loading on a 2400 sw ft house. Our goods arrived over 3 weeks late and with thousands of dollars worth of water damage. The whole time it was impossible to get an honest update from them. If you need to move out if WA, avoid United Van Lines and Morgan Transfer if you can help it.

So many bad things happened, first I asked a question about payment, they took so long to get back to me that my offer expired (that should have been the first sign). After that the movers came 3 hours late on move day then took 6.5 hours …

We booked our move with United Van Lines/Morgan Transfer, the movers picked up the items and did not wear masks or shoe covers, plus the truck parking break was broken so the truck continued to start rolling backwards on our almost flat …
