Bargain Movers broke my antique bookcase during my move on 17 Oct 2024. The move was only 25 minutes away. The bookcase was cracked in several locations, the crown molding was broken off on the left side, and the crown molding was completely missing on the right side. It looked as though they had dropped this antique. The supervisor on site acknowledged the damage before the movers left from the move.
We used this company based on the high expectations set by the owner. The movers didn’t speak English and one had an extreme attitude. We were charged based on time and a lot of times we caught them sitting and talking, laughing about something we didn’t understand. Then we arrive at the new home and when they were finished, we helped to keep the time down, but came outside to see the one worker that was sitting around laughing, he was sweeping the dirt and trash into our driveway.
The movers disappeared for 40 minutes for what was less than a mile trip and then tried to charge me for that time in addition they stole several of my items and we’re kind of nasty the owner of the company was also not very helpful I may file a credit card dispute. I would not recommend this company to anybody

We just completed a major downsize move from a large house to a condo about a mile away. After some serious decluttering, we contracted with Bargain Movers to help plan, pack and move all the stuff that was left. Day before the move the crew arrived on time and began the large task of wrapping and packing (dining and living room furniture, bedrooms (including disassembling and reassembling beds), kitchenware, basement TV rooms, dishes, glassware, clothes, linens, etc.).

Willy, Hervin, Arsenio and Melvin helped me move over the weekend and did an absolutely knock-out job! They packed all my (super fragile!) things with the utmost care, were able to handle complexity in which areas of the apartment I wanted packed differently, and they were patient and attentive when unloading. They asked where I wanted certain things, gave some advice on sofa placement haha, and even took the time to partly dissemble and reassemble my couch when the freight elevator proved to be a tight squeeze.

We had a local move in the Frederick Area and hired Bargain Movers. The entire experience from the estimate, to the move-out to the move-in was exceptional. The movers performed with professionalism.
