BC Brothers Moving and Storage

Movers Beware. My recent experience with BC Brothers Moving was, without exaggeration, the worst move I have ever had—and I have moved multiple times across several states. What was promised to be a straightforward, well-planned, eight-hour move for roughly $2,800 turned into a two-day disaster costing more than $5,300 and left me with damaged furniture, damaged floors, damaged walls, and a level of chaos I still cannot believe came from a “professional” moving company.

Would downgrade further to zero stars but Google will not let me. Got contacted by claims department right after my post below (of course). Submitted the required forms on 7/24 but no follow up even though I have emailed a couple of times. Downgrading to 1 star given that a brand new Nintendo Switch2 went missing during the move and someone tried to change the password the next day…which meant it was in someone’s possession and not in a box.

Ricky and Terrance were awesome! They were fast and friendly! Very punctual and professional. Highly recommend! My trip to Atlanta was amazing. Also Troy made my entire experience more enjoyable because ugh he just understood me. He made my payments so quick without the unnecessary questions. Update: I dislike my experience. After the movers were done I was quoted an additional 500 dollars. I had already paid 2600. I thought that was the final price that I was quoted.

Extremely disappointed. During our move, the crew cracked our brand new concrete slab — not a minor issue, but a full structural crack. We provided photos and reported it immediately, and the company refused the claim outright with no attempt to resolve it. Mistakes happen, but refusing to take responsibility for damage caused during a move is unacceptable. I would not recommend using this company, especially if you have a new home or anything you want handled with care.

We are filing a claim against BC Brothers, local moving company. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND. Why? They have being unwilling to reimburse us for damages. It should have been a simple move to get everything out of our first floor and into the garage and a pod on our driveway. (We needed to pull out all flooring for a mold remediation.) The men who were sent to pack clearly had no training and they did not come equipped with appropriate supplies.

Horrible experience. I do not usually leave reviews on businesses but I want to ensure that this doesn’t happen to anyone else. We had to book a two day move and they had to hold our furniture overnight. I was told by multiple different people on multiple different occasions that they had to book out three hours, but we would only have to pay for the hours they used.

I initially had my review at 5 stars until we arrived to our destination and opened the truck and I quickly decided I would edit the review. I hired BC Brothers for a “load only” job and upon arriving to our final destination we discovered that the U-Haul was loaded very carelessly. The furniture was wrapped in thin blue plastic and the pieces thrown on top of each other which caused many expensive pieces of furniture to be scratched. Most fabric pieces were not wrapped and came out with marks and dirt stains.

9/27/25: Robert is the consumate sales guy... full of lies! I'm just out of Surgery and one of his lying sales pitches was that included in my price was bed setup. The laborers nicely explained to me that they are not allowed to do so; also I was charged an additional $250 for a gun safe load/unload as if it was sometbing strange to be moved, on top of the already ridiculous overpriced quote. Robert is a slick one WATCH OUT... BE WARNED ⚠️ I got the run around! DO NOT USE!
