Bellhop Movers Nashville

I hired this company to move into my new apartment in July 2020. First of all, they were late getting there and broke down my items improperly. The two items that have suffered through this horrible move was my bedroom set and my son's bedroom set. The movers rapidly put our beds back together and I noticed that they did not put the beds back together correctly. Screws were missing and beds were very loose.

I had hired Bellhops for a partial move this past weekend. Sunday at 7:12am I get a text saying that the truck had a flat and that they would not be able to meet the 8:30am reservation, but Chase would keep me posted/ updated. Okay, I’m fine with this, things happen I get it. Since they were only moving a portion of my storage unit I kept my own pace and had cleared a way for them and loaded my other goods into my own moving truck. 10:30am rolls around and I’m ready to move a load to my house.

Like the other 1 star reviews, my move didn't happen on the scheduled day. One mover did show up, but he obviously couldn't move an entire house by himself. He tried calling Bellhop for help, but just had to enter a ticket through an AI. I attempted to call and also just had to leave an AI support request. Even though they flagged it as "urgent" I've been sitting here for an hour with zero contact.

They took off my front door to move a refrigerator and broke off a couple of the hinge screws. They also chipped the brand new LVP flooring in my new home by knocking over a surround sound speaker while carrying a large rug. Their truck knocked down a landline telephone line. Their estimating tool does not help and easily underestimates the time and cost. My actual cost was about twice the estimated cost. Also, maybe one guy spoke English so you can't effectively communicate with them.

TERRIBLE experience. WILL DAMAGE YOUR PROPERTY. UNRESPONSIVE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Two of my movers were good but the other two for starters showed up 18 minuets after the other two and my time started for 4 people 18 minutes early (which is significant considering their hourly rate of $258). After those two were late there were additional issues. They were NOT careful with my things. They took out multiple large gashes from my walls and one large gash in my new hardwood floors.

In June i was sold a move and told that the completion of the move would take place from our storage unit to our house when we are ready. Our move was flat rate. And i was told that the second part would be under $1000. At no time did anyone say the second part of the move would be hourly. ***i even called before our June move to make sure it was a flat fee and asked what happens if they take longer. You should be able to find this communication. *** I called and asked for the completion of our move in September.

Breach of contract. The initial contact is great - they promised me great service and guaranteed the ability to meet my terms. Then two days before my move they pull the rug out from under me. They presented a delay that impacted the other moving parts of my move and my work schedule. They had the leadership team call me to talk about a discount rather than a solution. Then one hour before the new agreed upon move time, they blindsided me yet again. Another significant delay...

Stay so far away from this company. Bell hops has been the worst moving company I have ever hired, and I've had to hire several for around 9-10 moves in my life. To start, the movers showed up without bringing a standard tool set which includes a power drill. I've never hired movers who didn't come with appropriate equipment. They weren't able to dissemble my bed due to a stripped screw and having brought no tools, and sat on the floor of my apartment for an hour and a half and just gave up.
