In their own words
I would give 0 stars for this company if I could! I chose this company because of its good reviews and how well David spoke about his crew taking precautions to not damage things and how they place back and stage in the new place but I do not see how they have such good reviews or if I was on their off day. I had a video chat with David and a walk through of the house and all of our belongings. I got quoted 7 and a half hours (estimate on how long the job will take) I was fine with this at their price.
THIS IS THE WORST COMPANY! PLEASE DO NOT USE THEM!! The company is very dishonest. They just tell you what to sign without any explanation of what you are signing and the print is so small it would be very hard to read. The team of movers I had were very slow, careless, and most were very unprofessional. I had broken furniture, lost pieces to some furniture and damaged items. My mattress looked like they intentionally dragged it through grass and dirt. I had to clean it throughly before I could go to bed.
Debby, We hate that you had an unpleasant experience and felt we were dishonest. We take accusations of lying very seriously, you said that we were dishonest yet you did not mention anything we were dishonest about.
While the experience with the move was well enough, be very aware that the fine print states that you are only to be reimbursed .60 cents per POUND. So when they punch a hole in your $2,000 outdoor TV that only weigh 80 pounds.. you get a whopping $48. Drop or break your $2000 couch? Only weighed 100 pounds, so here is your $60. DO NOT USE THEM as you have NO protection over anything they break.
This is a mediocre moving company at BEST. I would challenge any management personnel to contact me personally regarding the damages we incurred during our move. I just received the settlement claim from the insurance company on all furniture pieces and they are offering a measly $38.40. What joke for an insurance settlement. BE WARNED AND RESEARCH THE TYPE OF DAMAGE INSURANCE YOU AGREE TO BEFORE YOU MOVE AND STAY AWAY FROM MOVEON. In the end, We had several pieces of furniture damaged during our move.
Day of movers were great, super professional, on time and handled all my items with care. I chose to use Move On's storage facility instead of another storage facility, and that was my first mistake. 3 months after being in the storage facility, it was time for the move into my new house. However, as the move finished, I realized my suitcases were missing. The guys told me someone from the office would contact me to assist, of course that didn't happen.
Meagan, Thanks for honest review. I hate that it took so long for you get a resolution. That’s not the ideal timeline to get issues resolved with us. I understand your frustration. I disagree that we did not apologize. The check for $3,200 was our apology.
The WORST moving company in Nashville. We moved from Murfreesboro to Clarksville just a few weeks ago. Our move was from a rental to a BRAND NEW home with hardwood, a wrought iron stair case, and marble tile in the wet areas. The three movers destroyed my new home. They scratched my hardwood to the point that the gouges will have to be fixed with wood filler. They cracked my marble tile in multiple places. They tracked mud upstairs on my new carpet.
The move from start to finish was disappointing. I am still unpacking things and shocked by how poorly they were packed, even items that are clearly fragile or I had specifically asked to be handled with care. Items in cabinetry were not packed at all, including picture frames and board games. We moved from out of state and the time/ scope of move was overestimated by a full 2 days.
They damaged my flat screen TV, and took almost twice as long to move items than estimated (SO be prepared$$$$$). This was in June so I know they were busy but we paid a good sum of money for a pretty simple move of a total of 11 pieces of furniture and, only 3 of which required assembly. 15 miles in distance and one trip. Then they forgot most of the TV mounting equipment.
What satisfied customers point to
The same method, applied to the four and five star reviews. Most movers are praised for the same handful of things, so what is missing here is often as telling as what is present.

In their own words
Move On has made our whole moving experience seamless! Communication has been spot on since the beginning, including someone reaching out a couple days before to confirm all of our details. #TeamTouchdown showed up at our house right on time and get straight to work. Everyone was kind, professional, and extremely hardworking! They loaded up our house and storage unit and packed everything into our new house in eight hours, which is an hour less than the estimate.
Hi, Emily. We appreciate the kind words and are glad we could provide you with a positive experience!
I have to say I hate moving. Well and truly hate the whole process. But Move On guided me through every step of the way. We discussed quotes with a moving consultant and their billing was extremely transparent. I used them for both packing and moving, and Justin, the team leader, was there on both days coordinating the whole thing. The whole team was a great combination of fun and efficient. All of the items were wrapped very well, with extra padding for TVs, and wrapping for couches.
Hi, Sonda . We are thrilled to learn that you had a positive experience with us!
I recently used Move On to move our small business across town. As this was during peak 'moving season', I was very concerned about being able to secure a truck, let alone a team of movers. The team at Move On responded quickly, provided an estimate over the phone, and I was able to get the move scheduled easily! The deposit/contract system was very easy to use and they were communicated with us throughout the process. The per hour rate is also very reasonable and fair.
Hi, Sara. Your feedback is highly appreciated. Thank you for the review!
Yeah.....I've moved a lot and used a lot of different movers....I have had some great experiences, and I have had horror stories....this team...well, from the moment I first had the company come out and estimate...were just top notch. Estimate that they gave me was high...higher than anyone else. But I feel there must have been some confusion regarding what was staying and what was being moved. But they had 2 trucks and 4 guys for the day.
Hi, Harold. Your feedback is highly appreciated. Thank you for the review!
