In their own words
I provided Bellhop with a very detailed and accurate inventory of my furniture, the number of boxes, and so forth for moving my five-bedroom house. On the day of the move, they provided a 26-foot truck that was far too small for my inventory, which led to over 30% of my belongings being left behind due to lack of space.
Took them way longer than it should have to load the truck, but it was sharing elevators, so they did the best they could. However, they completely ruined my new white entertainment center on the top with chipped corners and paint and deep scratches. Broke 2 of my great-grandmothers china dishes, and also broke my great-grandmothers dresser, (bottom drawer) beyond repair and scratched the top really bad just like they did the entertainment center.
The Truck Driver and movers themselves were great. However, Bell Hoop did not coordinate between the two and neither one of them showed up within four hours of the same time when I left my home, or when I got to my new destination. I’m very sorry I used them, and I had to do all of the leg work on site to make this move happen.

We scheduled for an 8-9. They called shortly after 9, and stated they woke up late, but was apologetic. He asked if I’d wait 45 minutes to see what he could do regarding someone showing up. He called back at 10:30, saying someone should be there in 30 minutes. Then I was called by the guys who were coming, saying traffic was going to take them at least 45 minutes to get to us… which was accurate.

Very disappointing. They were supposed to show between 8-9am. I had a dock reserved for 11am at drop off. When they didn’t show I called Bellhop and they didn’t know what happened. Somebody finally showed up in an old beat up box truck with helpers an hour late. They had NO two wheel dollies, NO four wheel furniture dollies, very few pads and NO tape to wrap furniture up. We were over a half hour late for our load time, items were damaged, and the drivers and helpers took off without letting me know.

Horrible experience with driver at destination! No speak or read English! Contractual issues between contractor and bellhop I had to get involved in! Hours of delays! Will never use again! Look elsewhere for full service! $3k lost on this deal, will never recommend again!

Chris and his team were excellent. They were very careful with everything the furniture and the house. However, I found that the process for estimating the move in terms of the amount of items I had was lacking. Seems like more care should have been taken in surveying the items to be moved beyond my description of a 3 bedroom house with extra outdoor furniture and some very heavy items Chris and his team were masterful at packing everything into a truck just barely big enough. Kudos to them.

Scheduling our move, (and unexpectedly having to reschedule), was quick, easy, and seamless. The A+ Moving crew was phenomenal! Their communication up until the move was great. They worked hard all day long to ensure that all of our furniture and belongings were picked and safely delivered to our new home. We were very impressed with the crew’s work ethic respectfulness, and friendliness. We highly recommend A+ Moving!
