In their own words
This was our first time using a so called "well known" moving company. It was the worst experience ever!!! The salesman Mark Eschbacher seemed like he cared about our cross country move being that he would be making a nice commission...the day of the move was a disaster and he was nowhere to be found! Took him forever to even return my pleading voicemail messages for help the day of and even the day after the move. The Beltmann Group representatives lied from day one and through the entire move.
The weight and the price changed several times after we signed and agreed to a fixed price. The price went up $6500 due to your sales rep I would imagine was a poor estimate of the weight. The first day the moving truck showed up they were almost 3 hours late. The second day the truck showed up they didn’t completely empty it from the first day so they had to come back a 3rd day which I had to pay for as well as overtime cause it was a Sunday.
We moved from NJ to FL with two babies and two dogs. Our stuff was picked up on the 16th, brought to storage, and was guaranteed for delivery to our location between the 23rd-27th. We called on the first day of our delivery window to see where our stuff was only to be told it was never put on a truck. Well from there, the dates bounced from the 2nd to 7th to the 10th, almost a month after pick up!! We finally got in touch with someone higher up that was able to coordinate delivery by the 30th.
Recently used them for the second time because they were so good the first time. Not so this time. From the moment they arrived I got the sense it was the last place they wanted to be. I had the 20 pieces they were moving ready to go, only things left in the apartment. They were rough with my furniture resulting in scratches, damaging chunks removed and in some cases, drawers not fitting properly. They even ripped my mattress calling me in to show me " it was already there".

This relocation experience has been a complete nightmare. I was given inaccurate arrival windows all day long. First, the craters showed up an hour early and then chewed me out for not being ready. Second, the actual movers were supposed to come between noon and 4pm. They didn’t arrive until 7pm. This was not the crew’s fault, but the “coordinators” mismanagement. Conveniently the “coordinator” seemed to be unavailable all day during the move.

I just wanted to share my positive experience with Beltmann Moving and Storage. They moved my mother-in-law's belongings from upstate New York to Florida. Starting off, communication was super! They arrived on time, packed each individual item in the house efficiently and carefully and arrived at my destination within a week. They carefully unpacked each item as well and took away all remaining paper and boxes.

Our experience with this company has been AMAZING from start to finish..Jason had come out given us a quote but before anything, sat down with us an went over how they do things, after that we walked through every room going over what was going what wasn’t then we sat down again and went over everything answered all questions.
