This is the lowest rating option given. There isn’t an option for zero stars. I would not recommend this moving company AT ALL. Moving out was okay. The nightmare began with the moving in from storage. Let’s begin…… The foreman himself put runners at the front entry door. I asked why not more. He said they ran out. I was being very cautious as it is a brand new construction. Had not even been slept in yet. At some point during moving in the rear door was discovered by the movers.

WARNING — Please be careful with Jersey Moving Pro. This was one of the most stressful experiences I’ve ever had with a company. First, they kept my $250 deposit even though I called less than 24 hours later to RESCHEDULE my move, not cancel it. Then they gave me an estimate over the phone without ever seeing the apartment, and the inventory list on the contract did not even match my items.

Worst experience I've ever had. The only reason we used them was because the moving company we'd used before and trusted retired. It's been almost 3 years and I'm still absolutely gobsmacked at how unprofessional and overpriced they were. I'd invent a time machine just to prevent myself from using them and saving myself all the worry, stress, aggravation, time, sanity, and money. I was told that we would get free wardrobe boxes and "not to worry, the guys will just pack that for you".

The best thing about this company is that the crew is hard working and efficient. They also have great customer service. That being said, we had a pretty bad experience from the beginning. A guy came to give us a quote and we went with them because it was one of the lowest. We spent days packing up the majority of our things, and we moved at least 20 boxes to our new house on our own (including most of our outdoor furniture and a large Weber grill) which was included in the original quote, so we were shocked to…

Used their own cardboard to pack up my TVs, charged me for the “boxes” they used which was just an unopened flat box and were more expensive than me buying or supplying them, then destroyed them and put them in the garbage when they were done. I asked for a refund for destroying what I purchased, they said no and offered me a $50 refund for a good review. No thanks.

I am very disappointed with the service I received from this moving company. The overall experience was extremely frustrating and unprofessional. In particular, the dispatcher was very rude, disrespectful, and unhelpful when I tried to communicate about my move. Customers should be treated with courtesy and professionalism, especially when they are paying for a service. I expected clear communication and respectful treatment, but unfortunately, that was not my experience.

Update: The company called me and offered a back handed apology. Company also tried to threaten to go to my job and report me for my personal experience with this company. Company then tried to entice me to remove my review by offering to send me something in the mail. Very shady business practice. I will not removing my review but also contacting Google to let them know what this company is doing. Original: Extremely unprofessional. Movers were extremely rude to their customer as well as the property manager.

Unprofessional!!!! when we called the office inquire they tell us one price based on the amount of items we need shipped. They also send someone to your apartment to do an inventory inspection which on completion didn't mention anything about the distance from the apartment to the elevator would attract additional fees, but on the day that they are doing the moving that's when you're told.
