I had a horrendous experience with M&M Movers that I feel compelled to share. Initially, I was quoted $1,127 for my move, which I accepted. I knew I had a bit more than what was accounted for, but when I showed the person in charge, he simply said “ok” without any hesitation. After loading everything onto the truck, I was blindsided when I was informed that the job would actually cost $2,200—double the original quote!

if I could put NEGATIVE STARS I would absolutely do so. I used this company a little over a year ago to not only move but store my things until I could figure out my next move. When I finally went to move my things from their unit to a different one, my boxes were just tossed in what looked like a junk heap with ZERO care and I found out I was being ridiculously overcharged for literally a square spot in a garage.

I had a disappointing experience with M&M Moving. Initially, I shared a quote from another company (Piece of Cake Moving) with Max at M&M. He undercut their pricing, and I decided to go with him. I did raise concerns multiple times about whether enough time had been allotted for the move. Max reassured me that he had done similar jobs many times and that the time proposed would be sufficient. I sent photos and videos of everything that needed to be moved. Again, I was told everything was within scope.

My experience was deeply disappointing due to the mishandling of my property, lack of accountability, and unprofessional conduct by company representatives. I had a scheduled move at 8:30 AM with two movers from your company. Upon arrival, the movers began unloading items, saving my 55" smart TV (valued at $1,703.87) for last.

Beware of M&M Movers !! I strongly advise avoiding this company for multiple reasons. During my move, items were stolen, including a family heirloom ring that belonged to my late grandmother and had been in the family for over 55 years. Instead of taking responsibility, the company told me to file a police report fully aware that nothing would come of it.

They did a fine job on the move but starting two days after the move two of my credit cards started to be used in Piscataway. Almost 3k in charges between the cards before I noticed. Fortunately I got refunded but if you use them watch your credit more closely than I did To respond to their response: the cards in question were in the house the movers had access to and I never found the physical cards after. The move was in my wife's name.

I had a very unpleasant experience with the movers. They were extremely rude. I had IKEA furniture, which I had clearly shown while getting the quotation. At that time, I was assured that the furniture would be dismantled and reassembled. However, when the movers arrived, they refused to do it and even threatened to leave the job midway if I insisted. Eventually, they did manage to complete the task, but the entire process was extremely stressful.

They lost many of our shelves and the screws or didnt put them in properly in every cabinet and piece of furniture we have. They overcharged us by double the estimate and still asked for extra money even after all the terrible service. The movers are extremely unprofessional and cant follow simple instructions. All muscle, zero brains. We had to move around some furniture by ourselves. Our entire dish cabinet, every shelf screwed in wrong or missing, is ruined due to their awful work.
