Best American Movers Local and Long Distance Moving Company Hollywood Fort Lauderdale Miami

I have never written a review regarding any product or service, generally, because I prefer to maintain a limited online footprint. GroveStars Moving is the single worst decision I've made through the internet. After thorough research and reading reviews I hired Grovestar to move my wife's furniture and belongings from NC to OH. Olga emphasized the quality of Grovestar and downplayed cheaper companies. Grovestar did a great job packing all of the items.

They doubled the price (from our written contract) when they showed up for the move...even though they had a complete inventory list and pictures of everything in the household! They did NOT do the things they agreed to do in the contract! They were VERY intimidating and pressuring to customer to pay new charges. We had to pay someone else to finish the job since they left without completing the job! Terrible company.

We searched long and hard to find a reasonably priced, great rated moving company to move us cross country. We found GroveStar and thought we had found exactly what we were looking for. BOY WE COULDNT HAVE BEEN MORE WRONG. #1 our belongings were promised on a Friday by the sales person and didn’t arrive until Monday. # MULTIPLE damage was done to our furniture. Seriously. I have in excess of 50 pictures of broken, scaped, or gouged areas in my many beautiful expensive solid wooden furniture pieces.

I hired them for out of state moving. On moving day, they ended up charing me $300 extra. (elevator fee, tape fee, this fee, that fee....). They also ended up deliverying 3 days late. When I complained about extra fees and late delivery, all I heard was "You should read your contract", it says we have 3-10 business days to deliver! Whattt???? I was not informed about any of this during my first conversation with sales rep. They do great job selling you the service without informing the customer.

I don't usually rate and review products and services, but these guys deserve one. By far, the worst moving experience I had in my life. They moved me from Georgia to Indiana. The company send two crew members for a job of four in the first leg of the move. For the two movers to pick up my stuff took about 14 hours even though I only asked them to pack 1/3 of my stuff in boxes.

I booked this company for a move because they stated that they would be able to accommodate the specific dates that I needed due to a job offer. They had great reviews so I wasn’t as hesitant about using them. I was charged extra for stairs which was expected. They stated that my delivery date would be 3-5 days from pickup. Whenever I called to get an updated eta from the company, I was spoken to very rudely on the phone and hung up on because “they didn’t have time to deal with me”.

I don't normally leave reviews for services or products. They did quote a low price and we finalized exactly what we had to move. We were quoted a very reasonable price, do not be deceived by this alone. We packed our own home accept for the big furniture, which I was told they would handle and they did. At a charge that was not disclosed. They hit me for packing material at an extremely inflated charge! And fuel surcharge, which I asked about in my reservation. That we would not see any other charges.

This company moved me 2 weeks before the pandemic. They were eager for my business and assured me all would be taken care of on the front to the delivery end of my move. It was not until I began to unpack my items that I noticed how they were poorly packaged. I was told I would have wardrobe boxes. All my hanging clothes were tossed into boxes with breakables from my bedroom, wrapped in between them.
