Unprofessional. Arrived one hour late and overcharged for the move holding up the process to dispute the agreed upon job and causing unnecessary delays. I would 100 percent suggest searching for another moving company as there are many other options available.
Final update: I was partially refunded 400$ I recently used Live Moving and Storage for a move, and unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. Initially, everything seemed fine; the movers were prompt and courteous. However, the real issues surfaced when I started unpacking. Firstly, my shoes were carelessly stacked on top of each other, resulting in several pairs being completely ruined. Considering the cost of the move, I expected more care with handling delicate items like shoes.
Be very careful f you are hiring this company. They will try a bait and switch and to cheat you over on your contract. I hired them for a job in which they over estimated my move tie by 3.5 hrs in their words to be on the safe side. However the move did not take that long and despite it stating on the estimate that I would only pay for the actual time they attempted to charge me for the additional hours. Their movers did an amazing job with the move but are dishonest and scammers when it comes time to pay.
My husband booked this company for our move, and it turned into a completely unprofessional experience. We clearly disclosed in advance that the destination elevator was out of service and that stairs were involved. We paid a $100 deposit and signed the estimate. When the movers arrived, they suddenly tried to add $400 in extra charges that were never discussed. When we refused, they packed up and left without saying a word—as if they were trying to slip away without facing us.
The move initially seemed to be going well, but before it was even finished, the movers pressured me to post a five-star review so they could receive a “bonus.” The final price was also double what I had originally been quoted. They closed …
