In their own words
With our most recent move we had so many issues! 1. We requested 3 movers and 2 showed up to complete our 2 story home move from Rockwall to Saginaw. 2. We know of at least 1 box that was lost that contained our dogs medicine in it (which was still brand new) and recently purchased items for our new home. 3. One of our TVs was broken upon arrival to our new home. 4. Understandably so, due to the weather there were so many breaks taken by the movers.
I wish I could make this a good review because my husband and I have had great experience with them in the past, but they were a complete no call, no show on our moving day. I scheduled the move with AJ a month in advance and even got a reminder email about our appointment two days prior to the move. The morning of, complete no call no show. Leaving us to scramble and find another moving company the day of!
I had to come back to this review to change my initial feelings about it . I can honestly say, this was the worst moving experience I have ever encountered . They helped my family and I move into our new house. Throughout the process, without us being aware, while we were focusing on directing them where things needed to go , having casual conversations, they stole our computer and computer parts that we had packed in boxes and who knows what else.
We have no record of you being on our schedule under the name you have here on Google. If you could please call our office ([phone removed] we would be more than happy to go over this with you. We do not travel in cars. We specifically have trucks for every move.
I will never use this company. They broke my dryer button and was told they would fix it by the owner. It never got fixed. They gave me all kinds of excuses. Throughout the process, the guys stood around. I do NOT recommend this moving company. I was very dissatisfied.
Left my daughter stranded on moving day today and no one showed up!!! She went to the address which doesn’t exist except for a pet crematorium

Big Tex was responsive, professional, careful and efficient. I recommend them because I will be using them again. I had 2 movers who handled every carefully, secured furniture in the truck, and moved a 1 bedroom apt to a storage unit 20-30 min away in exactly 2 hours (Note: I didn’t need them to pack anything or wrap the furniture with shrink wrap plastic. I always pack everything and protect furniture myself before moves.) This isn’t one of those fake 5 star reviews.

We recently made a move across town in Royse City because of the need to downsize, and also because of my husband's disability to which he could no longer care for our home and land. Our son-in-law moved most of the household items in a day, but had to return back to Austin the same day. We were left with the piano, a large screen TV, a heavy dresser, and a few other sundry items. It was Sunday, and after 4 tries of calling other companies, I called Big Tex Moving.

The Most AMAZING + PROFESSIONAL company Ever!!!! The Gentleman who scheduled the appointment was pleasant and worked with my last minute request for moving date. Anthony & Derrick were assigned to move me from a upstairs unit to a downstairs unit & what a BLESSING they were !!!! It was extremely hot outside (100+) & parking was tough … they even offered to relocate a basketball goal from my new neighbors yard to help make the move easier + more efficient. I cannot say enough Great Things.
