Black Tie moving came into my home and did thousands of dollars worth of damage. I received the run around and empty promises to repair my furniture, but it is going on two months later and NOTHING has been repaired. If you are looking for a reputable and professional company you can trust check out Cooper and Cooper Moving. Black Tie Moving is unprofessional and unreliable. If you use them be sure to purchase the most expensive insurance on the menu because you will need it.

I’m at the very end of my patience with receiving a closet full of my possessions left behind in Tennessee by Black Tie Moving. They left a beverage cooler, two boxes of gourmet foods and artisan flours, a step ladder, and a craft chest filled with oil paints, brushes, sewing supplies, etc. The new owners of the home disposed of most of the gourmet foods by the time I was able to contact them.

I hired black tie for a third or fourth time having had a good experience prior. This last time I hired them to pack my delicate, expensive accessories. I did not trust myself. I wanted a professional. The packing was so poor I lost more than half of what I had shipped. Their answer was that they didn’t know what kind of handling they received through the Carrier. I have replaced several pieces delivered by the same carrier service. And packed properly not one piece was broken.

I hired Black Tie early April. This is the second time I have hired black tie. I don’t know what happened this go round but they scratched up everything they touched. I’m including photos of my brand new couches that are completely ruined after this move. They broke the legs on one of my dressers. My console table ended up scratched. They lost a pillow to one of my chairs. They left the screws to my couches behind. I reached out about my issues and after some time I was told they would try to repair my items.

I was so very fortunate this morning to have the super star team. Their names are Isaiah, Brian and Jhmarkus. They nailed it. I could not have asked for a better team. They took such care of my furniture and belongings and were quick and efficient as well. Again, no complaints only praise. These guys were the best. Todd, Brian, and Josten were amazing. We found ourselves in a bind when the other moving company we had hired canceled. We ended up calling Black Tie, and they sent a crew right away. They were so kind, caring and meticulous. I’m so thankful we ended up with Black Tie. I highly recommend them and will use them again!
