Tyler Lucy (owner) came to our house to give us an estimate for moving out of state. Communication was great, and he kept in touch and answered any and all of our questions promptly. His team showed up right on time and packed our things in their trick efficiently. We moved out of state and when the team got to our house, they unloaded everything quickly and asked where we wanted our items. I just want to say they were very polite and respectful, just a pleasure to work with.

After multiple winter weather delays Tyler’s team of 4 really nice guys moved into action. They were punctual and fast in loading a full 26’ van within 1 1/2 hours and unloading in an hour. All furniture that needed protection was wrapped with moving blankets. At the destination they were even helpful with alternate furniture arrangements which is where their experience and consideration came into play. I would highly recommend Tyler and his team and would use them again. Very happy they were available.

Big thank you to Tyler for getting my mom’s local move scheduled and settled so quickly! I contacted him just a few weeks before her move after receiving an extremely high estimate from another moving company—he was happy to help and was communicative about it being a busy week, however he followed up right away after our initial phone call. The movers were great and my mom was very pleased everything went smoothly.

There was a 2-month lapse between moving out of our old house and moving into our new house. Blue Ridge stored our personal belongings for the full duration. On both occasions, the movers were friendly, polite, and communicated well regarding where to place different containers. Our friends recommended the service, and we recommend this moving company to anybody in Central Virginia.
