Blueprint Moving

***Update 8/25/23*** I recently moved my items from storage after using this company. I'm still very disappointed about this decision because I keep finding damages. This experience has been such an ongoing frustration. I am convinced that these are not genuine reviews. I don't believe this is an honest company. It's just a few guys who rent commercial moving trucks and have figured out how to scam people in a decently convincing way with their websites and door marketing materials.

I am EXTREMELY disappointed in the lack of professional service from this company. There is no way I would ever recommend them. I knew deep within that should had canceled prior to my two week notice to move but decided to give the company a try anyway. For starters, I was initially informed that they would arrive between 9-10AM. At a little after 7AM I called to make sure they were coming, I was then told by Mark Hall, the owner, they would arrive between 10-10:30AM.

The 2 guys that moved me. (I forget their names). They did a good job .and were very nice. Professional. Got all my stuff moved, had to disassemble some and put it back together. It did take alot longer than i was quoted. And i had told the guy that gave me the quote i lived on the 2nd floor and around the back of building along with everything i had to move. He quoted me a certain amount of time and $$ . Well it took double the time and double the $$ . .. also they did put a nick im my kitchen table.

Just a terrible experience. They quoted an estimate of around $750 and ultimately on moving day charged $1,100. There was absolutely no reason for this $350 difference. We ended up leaving behind an entire bedroom’s furniture to be hauled off by others, so the movers actually had less furniture to move than originally anticipated. They were extremely slow, and it really looked to be trying to stretch the clock out as far out as possible.

Our move was outsourced to Blueprint Moving and Packing by Just Move DFW because they failed to complete their contractual obligations with us. (I have copies of the receipt) Nevertheless, we were supposed to get started on our move at 8am initially with Just Move DFW, but Blueprint Moving and Packing had to change the ETA to a window of 2pm-4pm. Well, they showed up at 5pm. This was supposed to be a 3 man job but only 2 were sent. These 2 guys did their best considering the circumstances.

Don't trust any of these online reviews. In reality, this is a very terrible moving company. We had an agreement of a move scheduled around 2pm and they showed up 6.15 pm. We kept calling to ask when they'd be coming since it's already passed the time (2pm), the guy on the phone would say in the next one hour at every new hour we call to inquire their whereabouts. Around 5.45pm one of the delivery driver called and asked if we were still moving. Isn't that ridiculous?

I was quoted a 3-4 hour move for a one bedroom apartment. I was sent two movers and it took them a total of 6 hours to move me, and they didn’t even move all of my furniture. I had everything boxed up and ready to move. They didn’t have to pack or unbuild anything. They didn’t keep any of the boxes organized how I had them. They broke two of my big wall mirrors and a curtain rod. He charged me $650 and took $100 for my broken property, which was not good enough. The move shouldn’t have been even close to 6 hours.

****I lost $360****with BLUE PRINT MOVERS****They left us feeling BLUE. Here's why. I called them a week in advance to help move my family and I. I had two apartments in the same complex and was combining both places into one at another complex. I asked for Friday the 4th and Mark said he could move us on Saturday the 5th at 1pm instead and that he would call on Friday to confirm. We went over the details and I spent the rest of the week getting prepped and ready. Keep in mind I'm paying rent on all three places.
