First time and last time - I would never use these movers again. I don't believe they deserve a 1 star at all. Damage to my desk and they did not offer to even come look at it let alone offer a solution. Never had any problems with previous movers. Shoulda stuck with them. PS - Any money I put out for furniture whether it is flat pack or not is an expense. I am retired and take great care of my things. I can't afford to obtain replacement items for damaged goods.
Hi Marsha, I'm not sure how it could be a new piece if it has now been through 4 moves (as stated in your email to me just now prior to this review). Perhaps the desk came loose during the previous moves.
Emailed this company a few days ago for a quote. Provided addresses, it was for a long distance move across Ontario. Received a very short response advising they could help and asked for a video of our listing, with no other explanation or request for details. Being this was our first moving company to contact, and was recommended by our realtor, I was unsure of the information they would require and did not have access to our listing video yet.
Hi Larissa, Your quotations above are not verbatim. Every move is different. All moving companies bill based on the time involved (which relates to the volume of contents), an address alone is insufficient.
I’ve used this company a few times to move. No problems the first couple of times. That said, they do not respond to phone calls and they do not respond to emails. I hired four movers to move me. Poor planning. One mover was on the floor moving things to my apartment and the rest stood around at the base of the apartment. I ended up moving things myself so not what I paid for. Unsatisfactory. They held my couch and gave me no update in 3 months. Paid the bill and left it at that.
Hi Adam, It seems as though there are some email issues but based on phone records, we had called you back on your last contact of June 24, 2022. Please feel free to text [phone removed]. Your move was completed 68 days ago, within 5 hours despite multiple locations and no service elevator.
The movers themselves were polite. Damage to home and furniture though. Were not careful to wrap and manage all items appropriately. Dirty truck - filth to our lighter furniture and mattresses - even when we provided covers which were not used as instructed. Owner gave his word to "do whatever it takes to make customer happy" after making me feel small for bringing items to his attention, even when his crew did not.
Hi Ashley Van Dam, Let's address the facts here: 1) Your house move was completed almost a month ago, within 6 hours, despite the pouring rain. 2) The truck used for your move is less than a year old. You'll be hard-pressed to find many moving companies using a fleet as new as ours.
Edit: I think it’s a bit of a tell when a company becomes so defensive when receiving poor reviews. My intention is to simply provide my own experience with them, I’m not speaking on behalf of your “1000s of happy customers”. Just mine and my family member’s. I’m glad you make thousands happy, but we weren’t. They aren’t a very professional organization. I only had one encounter approaching them but a family member had a similar experience. Not impressed.
Hi Charlotte, Seeing a 1-star review left on a Saturday night was very surprising. Our staff work incredibly hard on every move and we have thousands of happy clients. The only people named Charlotte that we have moved have emailed in positive feedback and tipped the guys.
A truly outrageous experience. They have no respect for your home or belongings, the staff had a huge problem with taking off shoes on brand new carpet after stepping in snow/dirt. There was no professionalism whatsoever and the lack of communication was atrocious. When explaining your concerns or worries that have occurred, they insult you rather than assist in a solution for the problem. I absolutely do not recommend this company for your moving needs.
Staff had no issue despite being talked down to by your partner, Rasheed. Your new house was under renovation and whether the staff had worn booties or removed shoes, the time would have been the same. Staff did not get the floor dirty. No insults were made.
Rude customer service. Apparently they think leaving whiny replies will help their case when being accused of being rude. Grow up dude

I can't say enough about these guys! We used them twice in the last few weeks for our move and they were on time, FAST, careful, detailed, friendly, and absolutely the most reasonable price I've found in London. Very very happy with our experience with Brawny Movers.

I have used Brawny Movers twice, once for a local move and once to move out of town. Both times booking online was easy, all their packages are clearly explained and the online booking tool shows their availability months in advance. The crews have always been super friendly, careful with my belongings and communicative during the process. Tyson and Tyrek were part of the crew who did my move out of town.

First I want to get one thing on the record. I DID NOT HIRE Brawny Movers. But I plan to use them as my GO-TO movers and will recommend them to anyone that asks. This is my story. My husband and I were trying to move two 300-pound metal and wood work benches out of the back of our truck into our store. It was hot. . .and things weren't going so well when this happened: Like angels falling from the sky (I would say GODS, but my husband is probably going to read this, but ladies. .

This morning, Tyriq and Tyson handled my move and I can not express how amazing they were! This was my third move with Brawny and I have been so impressed with them. Tyriq and Tyson arrived EARLY, worked quickly and efficiently. When my sofa wouldn’t fit down my stairs (due to the way the stairs are positioned), they quickly offered some options and ended up moving my old sofa to the basement for me. They are professional, polite and so helpful.
