This place is a rip off. They’re basically holding my stuff hostage. I cant even access my things without paying $50.00, yes, I know it’s really $50.00 not including the monthly fee $125.00. I used them because they were great to my parents, but my parents didn’t have to store any items. I don’t remember ever hearing about them charging me to get to MY things. Then if I want to move it outdoors to load on a truck, they charge $50.00. I think they’re nice enough, but I just don’t like how this went down.
If zero stars were an option, that’s what I’d leave. Very very poor experience with Brown Box. They damaged our washer/dryer unit when moving out of old apartment. The movers and my fiancée, could hear the sound of it scraping across the …
Samantha, I understand your frustration. Yes, our team did cause cosmetic damage to the machine. We apologize this accident occurred during your move. We did send over a revised claim option for a new door; to help correct the main concern, of course this is not a perfect resolution.
Our move was across-state, and I do not recommend this company for that. The move-out crew was really cool, they deserve many stars if the experience was just them. They were at times a little disorganized, like almost leaving their stash of moving blankets as well as some of our stuff. But they were super friendly, were a joy to work with. The people who moved our stuff into storage? Do not trust them to read or care to read.

While everyone was pleasant to work with and it was very easy to schedule and reschedule with this company. The movers DO NOT listen to instructions. We clearly labeled things with green tape as easy access, they put them in the back of the pod. Marked things as fragile all over, they just stacked tons of heavy stuff on top. Either go with another company or be comfortable micromanaging and watching them like a hawk.

Update after my third move with Brown Box: I've now had THREE moves with Brown Box Movers. These folks are so amazing; they've been so helpful and delightful to work with!!!! George, Vaughn and Kavotney were again fast, organized, professional and organized. Chanedra and Lindsey were very responsive and helpful scheduling my somewhat complicated moves. They answered the phone and communicated by text promptly and with clarity. I will definitely use them for my next move. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Five stars.
Jason, Ben and Joseph William helped move my daughter Brittney Berberich yesterday up. All three men were exceptionally Professional, kind, courteous, and hard-working. They took the time to wrap things and place them exactly where Brittney wanted them. The weather was brutally hot, but it didn’t stop them working without a break. We offered them water and lunch, but they refused politely saying thank you ma’am we have a job to do. They even took pictures.
Our four person crew with Kevin, Blake, Jason and Vaughn were absolutely incredible! They worked extremely hard in the heat and moved our belongings in very quickly. They were also SO friendly and nice! I would highly recommend Brown Box Movers to anyone needing moving services. We will definitely use them again if we move again. Also, when you call to schedule, the team that does the scheduling is incredibly helpful, professional and friendly!
Brown Box movers were excellent. Moved my daughter’s apartment from the suburbs to downtown Dallas. The estimate was fair and ended up not taking as long as allotted. They adjusted everything at the end for final payment. The team of three were professional, attentive and didn’t waste time. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again in the future for a future move .
