Very disappointing experience with this company. The owner made a commitment to load and unload, and choose not to unload in the same day, and never showed up to unload the next day. Lack of communication, took hours to return calls, and we had to continue to ask for ETA for unloading and no one ever showed up. The owner finally called and stated that he was on his way to another job he forgot about. This owner left us high and dry. Maximum effective range of an excuse is “ZERO”.

Showed up 3 hours late to an afternoon move that pushed it over to after midnight. Moreover, they scratched all my furniture during the transportation. Would not recommend if you need a professional moving service, pay a bit extra and get it done right.

I cannot thank Fred enough for coming through for me! I was traveling all the way from MD to come and clear out my 10x15 storage unit then personally drive my things back home. I couldn’t have done it without Fred’s excellent packing skills and overall expertise. Initially, I paid to have two guys help me out with loading up my truck but Fred and I had to quickly adjust when his moving partner didn’t show up. I helped out with what I could and Fred stepped up to take on all of the heavier items solo.

I am highly impressed by this company. I called at the last minute which is the day before Thanksgiving because my movers backed out on me. I was hesitant to pre-pay however I did do it and I am thankful for following my first mind. Within 3 minutes after paying I was contacted by Fred and he provided me with an ETA. Within 25 minutes he was at my apt, loading my belongings. He went over and beyond! He used his tools to take down the bed and table.

Notes: fast response to inquiry & service, informative, helpful, kind, & awesome. My experience: I am super thankful to the movers who came by to help me move. I had a last minute need of assistance and they responded to my inquiry in the moment, sent me the invoice, and provided me with the ETA. I have injuries that make it difficult to carry things, so after loading up my U-Haul, I physically could no longer take them out so I called Brown Moves LLC for help.
