Here’s how this move cost me next to $2500 for 2 bed 2 bath apartment. Arrived late messed up my time so instead of 8am came around 12am. I only have one elevator in my building and cannot be reserved. If they had come earlier no one would have been occupying it. Got quoted $450 paid next to $1400 for a 2 bed 2 bath apartment 960 sq ft. Too 9 HOURS start to finish. For a 2 bed 2 bath. Actually insane. Also they left my monitor on the floor by door, I was grabbing some cords so it fell over and broke.
We are very sorry your move was handled this way — arriving late, the excessive time, damage to your monitor and figurine, dirt on your headboard, and the crew’s disrespectful response are unacceptable and not reflective of our standards.
Asked for a quote to move my 3 bdrm house contents....only reply I got was for their hourly rate; no mention of extra costs which came to light only when it was time to pay. Decided to go with them because of their google rating anyways. Services I paid for: packing & moving. The three Packing folks were hard working and friendly, but they spent time repacking stuff that was already packed and didn't label many boxes; the ones they did label had absolutely no detail in regards to contents.
They broke my couch. Most of my experience was pretty great. The guys appeared to take great care of my belongings. I did think it was a bit strange that I paid for their travel time - and then they added a full hour of travel time at the end. After I thanked the guys and tipped them, I discovered my couch leg had been broken completely off by the movers. They then had wrapped the leg in tape and attempted to put it back in place. They did not even tell me that they had broken it.
Movers were great! Management was frustrating to deal with. I will not go with this company again. . . . I recently moved, and contacted this company. First off, the movers that were here were good. They worked hard. They did their jobs. They were both friendly and helpful. Now, onto why I’ve given a poor review. My requirements, as a little person, is a company that will be able to pack, move, disassemble/reassemble furniture, and take garbage to the dump. I called and made sure to confirm everything.
Used them for a local move in Calgary. The truck was small however I told them the size of the house so they left some items and refused to make a second trip ( however the distance was 6 minutes driving). Also they spent about 2 hours reinstalling the couch legs that they took it out for for the move ( which is supposed to be 5 minutes job ) and charged me for all that time. The good thing they are nice people and took care of the furniture, no damage or scratches.
I was pressured into a good review face to face. I was okay with their service until I went back to the old house with my husband for final THREE rounds because he told me they do not move loose items (not in pieces still packed a bit) and they broke our charcoal bbq handle without mentioning it..dunno if there are more things damaged yet
I am in shock I called them to ask if they can move some heavy items out of my basement They asked me if I had any equipment to move it .. Or if I had a walk out basement because it was hard for them to carry heavy stuff up stairs . Sounds like extremely lazy movers to me who are obviously in them wrong profession
The person who answered the phone didn't know how to do her jobs. Gave me the wrong quote. Insisting that cost $3000 to move 200km away. When all other companies gave me a quote of $1500.

EDIT: after now having the chance to fully unpack and organize we’ve realized a number of furniture items were damaged. Mostly a lot of wood being chipped, a lamp base was broken, paint peeled off shelf boards from where they wrapped them directly with tape, a couple wood pieces on my tv stand were snapped. The rest of the review is true.
