As a Manager of a storage facility, I would say I would only utilize Cal's if it's your very last option. They were extremely rude and unprofessional with a tenant of mine, ignored calls from me and also hung up on me after they answered. They were over an hour late to help this customer move and we're very mouthy and talking over us both - zero remorse or apologies. They also gave us separate excuses as to why they didn't show up.

After my first experience with them I would have given them 4 stars, the guys were great but deducting one star because they didn't do a walkthrough or anything prior to know how much stuff and therefore how many people and trucks. But since it required a second trip on a different day I had a second experience with them, and it was night and day. The first time was 3 young guys, all three worked hard and they packed as much as they could into the truck.

Called and scheduled to have movers come out and help load my pod. I asked them to email me proof of insurance and a confirmation. Never got the email. I did a little more digging and found out that they aren’t an authorized moving company (they aren’t registered with ODOT). So I called them back three separate times to try and cancel the movers and they never responded.

They Sent some young guys who would rather show off then be professional. They broke 2 of my statues I had on a heigh lip shelf . Rather then get a ladder one of the young men jumped to get them Down causing 2 of them to break. I paid a lot for them and alot for them to move me. Would not recommend at all.

Guys worked hard, but move not set up with enough time to complete the job. Then no follow up on furniture damages. Very disappointed. Would not recommend.

I had to make a move on short notice and was given Cal’s as a recommendation. I’m glad I did. Reserving was quick and easy and I was alble to change when I made a mistake on the day right away. Communication was great the entire process. The guys came and picked up my stuff with care and delivered with care. I felt the prices were reasonable. I’d use them again.
