They were extraordinarily nice at the beginning. But when we moved in, we immediately noticed three paintings of our were missing. We reported the day of the move, but they kept assuring us they would find them. Then they became less and less helpful. We purchased insurance as they encouraged but it only covered us BY THE WEIGHT! Since they took paintings, they weighed very little so for about $15,000 in art, they gave us $400. The art was stolen on their watch. They are responsible which they deny.
This review is based on the customer service of the company, and not the actual moving service itself. In summary, they were not responsive and not professional and clearly have some communication issues within their company. …

This is our third time moving with Carole & Jan’s and we will continue to use them in the future. Lilia has over 30 years experience and is a great resource for all questions you may have about packing/moving/storage. The crew was fast, efficient, quiet and careful. They didn’t leave a scratch on a wall. Their prices are competitive. They came in under the estimate. I feel like my belongings were in very good hands from packing to moving and to storage. And Lilia has such a calm demeanor.

If you care about your things, they are the best!! I have used them several times. Lillia is very responsive, flexible, and accomodating. Moves for me are stressful with so many moving parts. She has helped think through creative solutions to unexpected situations. She arranged storage for some items that couldn't fit where I was moving and didn't have time to figure out what to do with them. When I call her, I feel like I'm calling a friend... And when I'm moving, I need all the friends I can get! :-))

Satisfied customer here! My belongings were stored securely for a few years, and always had positive experiences. I have used several storage companies in my life, and this was so far the best: Organized, professional, and secure storage!
The movers were incredibly punctual and handled everything with care. Good price compared to larger moving companies like Roadway. If I move in Los Angeles again I will definitely use Carole and Jans
