HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I usually do not write reviews but my awful experience with Carpe Diem Moving compelled me to write this review in order to warn future potential customers. I was scheduled for a local move on 02/15/2026 (Sunday) between 1pm and 4 pm window. I had booked them a month in advance just to make sure everything was good to go, the lady I spoke to Carmen was professional and communicative during the process of booking so there were no major red flags.

The movers arrived and loaded my property as scheduled. The issue I have is a missing money box. The box was the only thing left in the bedroom.It was so heavy I asked the mover if he could transport the box with the rest of my property.He said yes he would move it. I asked him to wrap it up and take it. I left the room for a minute,then came back to see him wrapping the box, so I assumed he was going to load it up and take it.After unloading all of my property,I asked where was the money box.

Do not hire these ppl to move your things!!! Their men damaged my expensive ,beautiful marble dining table. I made a claim and they denied me ,stating that they’re guys wrapped everything up ,which they did not! Lair’s!!!! They were too busy in a rush moving things and not wrapping things properly! Maybe you should try wearing gloves if you’re not going to wrap people things up because the dirt in the sweat from your hands and fingers can damage peoples things.

I paid about $2,600 for a move that took around 7 hours with a crew of 6 and 2 trucks. Unfortunately, the experience did not feel professional for the price. The crew appeared very young overall, with only two people who seemed to be supervising the two teams. Several of the movers seemed inexperienced, and a few were careless during the move. Some were playing with my kids’ toys and even messing with the Nest thermostat instead of focusing on the job. There was also damage.

I’ll start with the movers were polite. But they did not estimate the move correctly and because of that I had to drive back to our house over 2 hours away with a U-Haul and get the rest of our things which packed a 22 Foot box truck. They walked the house and said they could complete the job. Lies. After contacting the boss who wouldn’t take responsibility at all or apologize eventual told us she was pregnant, I have no idea what that had to do with anything besides she wanted mercy.

Only reason I gave 1 star as you have to to post a review, but zero stars is my true rating. First They showed up 2 hours late, no courtesy call. Carmen came to our home in Trophy Club made notes, and stated we would need six man team to get everything moved. When they did finally show up they dismantled everything they could every bed frame which is understandable to fit in the truck but also taking the bottoms of the couch legs, completely dismantled a couch and broke armoire which is missing two legs in…

I will start by saying that the booking consultant, Carmen, is very sweet and professional as well as the other mover. My primary issue was with the owner, who was one of the two people that came out for my move. (I believe his name is Jairo) First of all, I asked for a three man crew to help with packing and loading. They called an hour before my appointment to say they only had two people available.
