JC Moving Company LLC

I would not recommend this company. I scheduled my move for 5/1 at 4:00 PM, but the movers did not arrive until almost 6:00 PM. The main issue began when my TV mount was damaged while the movers were removing my TV from the wall. I personally watched them remove it, and I have the incident recorded on my Ring camera. At first, I was not upset and did not make the movers uncomfortable about it.

What a difference a year makes. This was my experience one year later. I’m extremely disappointed with my recent experience with. As a repeat customer, I expected much better, but this move was frustrating and poorly handled. First, the movers were 2.5 hours late, throwing off my entire schedule. Despite having moved the same furniture with this company last December, they showed up with a truck that was too small. They should have known what size was needed.

Worst moving company ever. JC and Al came to my house in Frisco(as a sub contractor to my original moving company). Initially Al started talking nicely asking where am I from(I am from Indian origin) and saying he is from Thailand and that our countries are closeby. In the middle of the unloading, he said I need to get paid. I said you should talk to the company that hired you and then he says can you make payment to him so I can get paid.

Overcharged after agreeing on a price. Damaged several pieces of furniture and scratched our hardwood floors. Seemed to milk extra time when traveling to the new house as it took almost an hour longer than it should have to get there. Went with these guys because they seemed trustworthy through initial conversations but would not recommend after the fact.

This is an updated review to one star after recommending JC and not getting a call or text back to discuss a number of issues. Please pay attention to whether owner replies to negative comments. READ ALL REVIEWS BEFORE HIRING. Unfortunately have to change my review after recommending JC moving company to a friend who had a terrible experience. The only thing worse than having movers be unorganized and unprepared is bad communication.

I wish I had taken time to read reviews about this business but did not unfortunately and it ultimately cost me $1400. Overpriced, slow, and unprofessional. Please take time to read the other reviews voicing the same experience as mine. My move was pushed back, original estimated time was 12 they arrived at 2 pm. It took 3 men 3 hours to pack up a 2 bedroom apartment (with my help.) I also heard the owner JC cracking jokes about my furniture.

I wanted to give JC Mover’s the benefit of the doubt, but unfortunately, our experience was frustrating from start to finish. We booked their services for two movers and were given a time window of 10:00–10:30 AM. We rearranged our schedule to be ready, but no one showed up on time. Around 10 AM, we received a call that they were still looking for help. One mover eventually arrived after 11 AM.

Tony and Tristan were friendly, respectful and efficient, but otherwise I was not happy with this company. I called and scheduled a move for a Saturday at 4/5 PM. At 5:00, I reached out and asked for an updated ETA. It was at this point I was told the morning move was running behind and it would be closer to 7/8 PM. At this point, I was frustrated that no one had reached out to inform me they were running behind. I understand things happen, but the movers were in Sherman…which is over an hour away to begin with.
