Didn't show for our first meeting or bother to call to say they couldn't make it. When they did show for the second meeting the lady was nice but never got back to me with an estimate. Several phone calls and emails later they were still promising to send an estimate and never did. A lot of wasted time and broken promises from this company. I think they are just to busy at the moment to care.
The movers showed up 40 minutes late for a corporate move. Their excuse was they had to stop and have breakfast. They were hungry. When asked about their professionalism they threatened to walk off the job. Unless I was nice to them. Obviously I would never use this company again
Carson Valley movers, Bless their hearts! TL: DR - [-5 stars--Google doesn't let you choose 0 stars] If you don’t care about your belongings and whether or not they are all handled carefully and not lost in transit, then Carson Valley movers (CVM) are for you because they don’t care about your belongings either! Full disclosure: I signed a contract and paid CVM by check; half as a deposit in good faith before the work and half the day they delivered my belongings.
Moved from Genoa to Reno. All seemed OK until we were told they broke our antique mirror. They took the mirror but refused to pay (or have their insurance pay) the $675 dollar bill. They offered $60. Then we found a end table drawer broken. We won't even ask as we know their answer. If you use them lots of luck.
Worst move ever! They didn't wrap any furniture and their truck was dirty. Mattresses and upholstered furniture all had to be cleaned. The final bill was hundreds of dollars over the quote. They stacked heavy book boxes on top of light weight fragile boxes and several items were destroyed.
Very unprofessional kid. Dressed very sloppy wearing slippers. Would highly recommend you use a different moving service this place doesn’t respect your basic rights.
Aggressive and reckless drivers. Watched them go 15 mph over the speed limit while going in and out of the lanes. Would'nt trust them to move my stuff.

CV Movers moved us out of one house and into another over a 4 day period. The coordination with their office was seamless and efficient, and Miki made sure everything was communicated clearly. The guys were fantastic- very careful with how they handled everything and very hard-working and efficient. They were also friendly and engaging. The crew that moved us in went out of their way to make sure everything ended up where we wanted it to make it easier on us. I would use them again in a heartbeat!

I have used CVM for the last 4 years during multiple moves. They are always on time, fully prepared, careful with moving the most delicate of items. But mostly it’s the guys that make this company SO great. Hardest working in the business. SO PROUD OF THEM! Highly recommended. Special thanks to MIKI and CARLA in the office too! Love you all!

From estimate to completion of the move, Carson Valley did an outstanding job. Came in under estimate and their price was less or equal to the other quotes. They were careful and thoughtful as they moved furniture into place…even helped me from making a couple of mistakes. I would recommend them wholeheartedly.
Carson Valley Movers are the best! We have used them for a move on 10/08 /24 and one on 01/09/23. Both were perfect with a goods arriving and set-up well! The office was great with Mickey and another lady really taking care of us. The move manger Brent was with us both times and his crews were very friendly and safe. Brent is amazing in his knowledge of moving a large refrigerator. It is still working fine and I just am very happy with CVM.
