I was quoted $925–$1,100 to move my 2bd/2ba apartment from St. Pete to Tampa in 5.5–6.75 hours. Instead, it took over 16 hours, from 9:45 AM to 2:15 AM the next day. It turned into an exhausting and upsetting experience — especially as a single woman stuck with movers in my home past midnight, with no clear end in sight. The move began with a family emergency (around 11am) from one of the movers, which I was understanding about.

Cary's Moving made the moving experience so much less stressful. We moved our small apartment of furniture across town and Peter & Jake were so professional, courteous, personable and friendly. They took care to wrap all the furniture and moved it carefully, setting it up where it belonged in the new space. They had to disassemble and assemble the bed and did a great job in spite of missing and mismatched pieces/screws after several moves.

I was messing up my piano move: got it outside into the grass, legs still on, bent the pedal a little, and couldn’t get it out of the sand trap… Peter came to our rescue, booked the same day. They offered a discount for my friends and I being the labor, but he had expertise enough for all of us! (not to mention the right equipment.)
