How this moving company got so many favorable reviews is beyond me. They warn about other movers then commit the same offenses they warn of. I got a quote and then when I hired them they upped the rate and added a travel charge. I know the travel charge is customary but they “mistakenly” omitted it. When the confirmation came the moving charge was over 30% higher.
I have use rocks moving company in the past and we were repeat customers until this last move. We use rock moving company to move us into a storage facility until our new home was purchased. We purchased a home while on vacation over the summer (2 months). While we were away we had Rock Moving Company move us into our new home with the supervision of a friend. During the move they damaged two pieces of furniture. The couch and the dining room table are both new.

It’s been two months since my move from Florida to California, and I’ve gone back and forth on whether to write this. But every week I find more damage to my furniture, and I feel it’s only right to share this so others can make an informed decision. I understand that moving cross-country (especially using a UPAC storage unit) comes with risks. Small scratches, dents, and wear are part of the territory. This was far beyond that.
We hire Rock's Moving to pack and move. The packers left tons of our belongings in our old house and never packed it or moved it, causing us to take a whole day to pack and move the rest of our things ourselves. They also did not label any of the boxes they packed, so unpacking took way longer than it should have as we were finding dishes in our bedroom, clothes in the living room, etc. We reached out multiple times to the company after the move and they never bothered to respond.
If you want all of your stuff damaged upon arrival these guys are cheaper than most of the competition, but you get what you pay for. They didn’t wrap most of the pieces and obviously banged them against multiple walls. Several pieces with …

This move occurred over four months ago. At the time of the move the customer and our office came to a settlement agreement. We paid the amount that the customer requested and he agreed he would take the money and do the repairs to the bed himself.

We charge by the hour. She knows this very well because she used us before in 2012. We sent her the SAME MOVERS as last time. The price came out the same as last time. She told us she would have much less stuff than she did on her previous move.

Rocks Moving does it again. We moved our commercial office from a two story building to a residential house. The building elevator went out mid-move and the Rock's Moving crew didn't even blink! They just pushed forward and moved the rest of our furniture / freezer down the stairs and into the truck! Professional, kind, talented group of young men. Thank you!!!
Moving is exhausting, but Mason and Ron were amazing! They were kind, professional, incredibly hardworking, and handled everything with care.
