In their own words
Hired through U-Haul, stated that this is for an evening move with minimal furniture with one or two slightly heavy items, and the order was accepted on Friday. It's now Saturday at 7p (my move is Monday) and was just told that a 4:30/5p move is too late, despite the request already stating that in advance, and was accepted on Friday.
If it’s a minimal move you should be able to find someone right? There are several companies on uhaul and you hired us because we are the cheapest. I gave you some alternatives but instead of calling someone right now you decided to complain on google instead of being productive.
I hired Cascadia moving company LLC through U-Haul movers.com. I have been so extremely busy with my move and going back to and fourth where I used to live and then back home trying to unpack that I am just now getting to the paperwork catch up of my move. I realize it's been 3 months but I don't think that's unreasonable for what I've been through the last 3 months. I tried to review Cascadia moving through U-Haul and they tell me it's been too long.
No call. No show. Look elsewhere. I booked 6 weeks in advance, called and confirmed with them 72-hours before they were scheduled to do the load and still got burned. Don’t waste your time. EDIT: for clarity to the owners response. No one from the company was available to be reached from the scheduled time of the load until hours later. The phone went straight to VM which was full. That is a “no call. no show (no job)” by any measure of the rubric.
Who writes a bad review at 12:20 in the morning anyway are you drunk or on drugs? Be happy not hateful.
Absolutely do not use. They were a no show! No call, no apology and their VM is full. Bender maybe? Major inconvenience!!! Ended up having to use a last minute company out of Roseburg costing us an additional $500. Cannot emphasize enough....do not use!!! Same thing happened to another customer below this review. Finally spoke briefly to Cascadia a week later. Said “oh yeah saw your review. I was out of town and my guy got sick” Way to manage your business. Not even as much as an apology.
We contacted you. Please don’t send me threatening messages again.
They didn’t show up, respond to a text or a telephone call. They called back Finally 90 minutes later claiming an emergency & wanting to reschedule for the next day. I wasted a week. Very unprofessional.

Cascadia Moving Company is AMAZING! Anthony was incredibly kind, professional, and prompt with communication. His team was quick, professional, kind, and so incredibly helpful. They got our moving truck unloaded and up 3 flights of stairs very efficiently. We also sincerely appreciated them being willing to accommodate us in their schedule, as this was a rather last minute move. I highly recommend their services!

These are your guys, look no further for moving labor. Anthony and his crew were great. You will get effort, experience and enthusiasm at a fair price. We will be moving again this summer and will not be calling anyone else for quotes or estimates. (Note that we were packed and padded, ready to go, when they showed up)

When I had an abrupt change of plans on my move, Cascadia Moving Company saved the day. I had a large U-Haul full of my belongings, an apartment that opened up sooner than planned, and didn’t have a way to unload the heavy items myself. The manager of the complex highly recommended Cascadia Moving Company to assist me and am I ever glad I made that phone call! They were available within 2 hours with zero notice, assembled a team for my request, and had the entire 26’ truck unloaded in just over an hour!!

I am a local guy. I needed to clean out my storage unit. To be honest, it was a bit of a mess. I hadn’t been able to get everything packed up. I was on a time line and the other crew I had booked with left me high and dry. Anthony showed up and started organizing and and cleaning it out. Because it was so late, the storage facility was about to close. Anthony went and talked to manager and was able to negotiate another 45 minutes for us to get cleared out.
