Chris Corrigan Moving Inc

We hired Chris Corrigan Moving for an 8:00 AM move, and unfortunately, it was a terrible experience from start to finish. The movers didn’t arrive until 9:30 AM and showed up reeking of marijuana. We had buyers scheduled to arrive at 10 AM for our home walkthrough, and thankfully our realtor went above and beyond to delay them so the sale could still go through. Throughout the move, the crew was disorganized and careless.

My move was scheduled last Sunday 8/31 from Providence to Woonsocket which turned into 6 hrs job with 2 inexperienced movers and so many complications. I was quoted $600 initially and i found out during moving day Sundays are double price and ended paying over $1500 for them to do an incomplete move that included two a queen size bed/ frame and mattress dresser and drawers chest ' kitchen table' and a 2 piece sofa.

I suppose that to properly review corrigan movers I should have actually seen them move something. Due to the fact that I had waited over 3 hours past the AGREED UPON time to meet the movers and they were still a no-show , I can’t really give a proper review. However , I can review the experience I had ; I needed a small apartment moved and called corrigan movers . Boy , did “Chris” have all the right answers ! . I felt well at ease after listening to this man’s spiel .

I hired Chris Corrigan several years ago. They packed and moved my townhouse and brought everything to a storage facility. It was very expensive and one of the guys worked very slow. He was tired that day. I kept my stuff in storage for about 4 years. 2 years ago, I took my stuff out of storage and moved to a new home. That is when I realized that the movers broke my bed, and a large flat screen TV was missing. With regard to packing and moving, my entire Christmas china was smashed.

Do NOT waste your time with this company. They make up times and charge you whatever they want. We moved and had to put our stuff in storage. It took them 4 hours to get everything disassembled, down a flight of stairs and into the truck. They claimed that backing the truck into the storage bay and unloading the truck took 3 hours.

Can’t speak to their moving capabilities but I can speak to their lack of professionalism and terrible communication. We had a move scheduled and we called to confirm a few details 3 days prior to the move and they said, “oh we don’t have enough people working so we’ll have to reschedule your move.” Are you kidding? We’ve had this move planned for months and suddenly we’re scrambling to find other movers. Moreover, what if we hadn’t called to confirm?! When was someone planning to tell us this?

Horrible company.... Scheduled a move for 11am they called sayn they were running late multiple times pushing the time back all the way to 5:30 then wanted to do it the following day only to just never show up or call again.... Can't honestly understand how you can run a business like this completely wasting 2 full days of our time

They moved a hutch that was in pristine condition and didn’t wrap it. The top must have fallen onto something in the truck, as the back was punctured and front all scraped up. He is only giving her $120 for repairs instead of taking care of whole thing. Would never recommend them.
