In their own words
Very nice movers but Chris the owner is very difficult to work with and lies. Contracted movers Nola also known as CM Movers to move us on June 20. Very nice team showed and got 85% done when a thunderstorm threatened. They suggested we reschedule. I called Chris the owner and explained that we might get rain and his movers suggested we reschedule the last bit for the next day. Chris agreed to coming out the next day and also agreed to waive the $160 truck fee. The next day they were a no show no call.
Anyway, thanks for your comment! You know very well that a guaranteed job was done! Without any damage. After all, I gave you a discount of 15% of the total on the last day of moving, but you still considered putting a bad reference. Thank you, and good luck in your business. Chris
DO NOT hire this company!! After breaking my tv and sending me and email stating I would be reimbursed, it is now three weeks later and I still have not been reimbursed! They also broke a leg off a dresser. As they were supposed to show up at 9:00 am the first guy learndo didn’t get there till 9:45 then sat around for about 30 minutes because his partner had to take an Uber to work and couldn’t get there on time.
The last thing you need during a stressful move is a company like this. Avoid them and save yourself a headache: I spoke with Chris several times about my move in advance. I paid my deposit and got a confirmed day and time for it- and these jokers never showed up. Not only that, they would not respond to any texts or calls asking if they were coming. Just vanished. Now I'm stuck trying to get my deposit back through a chargeback or whatever. What a mess.
3 weeks ago called this company and set date and time and asked about cost. They gave me a price. So I hired them to move me 2 blocks for 2 hours not any big furniture. It took them all of 2 hours to the dot. Then went to pay them and the price went up considerably. I argued with the man saying you said a different price on the phone. Well we didn't give you the truck fee of another $100.00 dollars . I wouldn't recommend using this moving service.

Never showed up for our move. Waited for 5 hours, when asked they kept saying they were running behind multiple times. We waited for hours. They never returned my deposit. What a night mare, husband took off work for our move, we had to do everything ourselves with a new born baby. Never use this company. Not reliable at all

Our family just moved from Metairie, LA to Orange Beach, AL... and working with Chris was, hands down, the best decision we made when it came to our move. Chris was extremely responsive during all email communication. I was extremely impressed because you rarely see that these days. Chris and I confirmed the move not once, but twice the week-of the move. So I felt very confident that there wouldn’t be any issues the morning-of. The crew showed up early and got straight to work.

We hired them twice. After first time I wanted to rehire them but I lost all my contacts and couldn’t find them and I also don’t remember their name. So, we hired “your movers” (we were in contact with Brad), they were supposed to show up today but they didn’t. In the last minute, I was searching for whom I used the time in my emails, and realized I should’ve paid them through venmo or zelle and so I searched for them over there and found their info.

I had the pleasure of asking C&V Movers to assist me not once but TWICE following Hurricane Ida. As you all know , a lot of people sustained significant damage to their homes/apartments . I unfortunately experienced the same . Chris and his team helped me during my time of need to effectively move me to a safer location . Chris and his team worked swiftly and efficiently while paying close attention to not damaging any of my belongings.
