8/17 I hired 5 mover crews. Alex was the only person who could work efficiently. Other guys did not arrive on time and they were not experienced at all. As they could not work without Alex's direction, they were hanging around and spending time together. I also would like to note that it was unprofessional manner to impose auto gratuity (15%). 8/23 If you believed the working environment was not good, you had better discuss with me before hanging around and imposing 15% gratuity automatically.
Hey Sam, thanks for your honest review, but safety is our top concern, and as you recall you had no AC on a 100+ degree day in July, as well as many more items and boxes than were on the contract that you signed off on.
Have moved with these guys twice. First time was a small move and great. Second move was more significant (~1200 sqft in 20ft UHaul) and a few things were initially overlooked (and I had to subsequently load in to my car) as well as some things we eventually deemed as lost in the move. Conflicting stories between workers and admin about what happened with the "lost" items, we just gave up and fronted the replacement costs. This may just be the industry standard, but was frustrating nonetheless.

Aaron and his team were awesome! They called ahead to let us know they were on their way and arrived on time. They were very professional from start to finish. They made sure everything was protected and took great care of our belongings. Although we had our bed already disassembled in preparation, they put it back together at our destination which was very nice of them to do. Great price as well. They made our move very fast and efficient. It took a lot of stress off of us.

We recently moved from our house to a new Condominium in early May 2024. I had no history on local movers so I went to the Internet to start looking. There were several and I looked at each one. I chose Moving NOLA for a couple of reasons: 1) their prices were competitive (not the high, not the low); 2)their customer reviews were very positive; 3) Most impressive was the fact that the company responded to every review whether positive or negative.

My experience with MovingNOLA was FABULOUS! John, the company owner/president, Katie & Brian were top notch professionals, super nice and delightful to work with. I have moved a LOT within and between 4 states over my 57 years and they are hands-down the BEST team I've ever hired or experienced with friends and family members' moving companies. I had a lot of old, heavy furniture I needed to have brought to the dump, and other heavy furniture moved to different places around the house.

Over the years, my family has successfully worked with Moving Nola on several different occasions! I have worked with them for various moves and this time, they helped me mainly with coordinating, packing and moving. They can do it all! They moved me up and down stairs using safety equipment to support their backs and the weight of the various furniture. They are the only moving company that I trust to work with with moving our antique family heirlooms and fragile pieces.
