In their own words
First and foremost, let it be known LEE MOVING INC is not ATLAS VAN LINES. In spite of the fact that they mislead by using their logo on correspondence, as well as their vehicles. Lee Moving packed, stored for nearly 7 months and damaged over 25k of furniture. Their own estimator valued the repairs at $1,800 for which they claim to be reliable at the rate of 60 cents per pound or $425. After charging me over 10K for their services, they offered me $425, which won't cover the cost of what they damaged.
Mr. Ledet as an agent for Atlas Van Lines for over 48 years we are disappointed you had a bad experience on your local move. 1. You were offered insurance on 4 separate occasions which you declined via email and 4 signed documents which were explained to you in detail.
Didn't pack anything. Furniture scratched and half of my things were left behind. Missing shoes, clothes, bedding, bathroom items, kitchen items, and electronics. Not one box was packed with loose items I hadn't packed myself.
Mark we were hired by your brother Paul due to an eviction. We did not move or pack your things due to hygiene and the health/safety of our crew. Your brother was aware of the situation and sent pictures of what to move and what to leave behind.
Please read my experience and use another mover... Thank me later... My family recently moved from NOLA to another state and found Lee moving online. One of their associates came to our small apartment and met with my husband to give us an estimate for a full pack with an additional pickup from a local storage facility. She seemed knowledgeable so we decided to use them for our move. Packing day: The movers showed up bright and early. They came in and took one look and their enthusiasm immediately faded.

There's nothing more tedious then moving, but my experience with Lee Moving made it quite easy. The professionalism, and quality far exceeded my expectations. The guys showed up early, and ready to work. They packed up all of my quickly, carefully, and neatly. Everyone there was super nice, and professional. From the girl I spoke with to book the move, down to the guys who packed and moved me.

Relocating can offer be a strenuous exercise for the body, mind and spirit. This was our fourth move experience with Lee. Professional, prompt, patient and polite. Our organizer, Alise, planned with detail - scheduling, organizing, communicating, and providing helpful assistance pre-, during, and post-move experience. The Lee Team that moved us - Chris, Al, Ro were exceptional.

These guys do great work, and have very reasonable pricing. Chase, J, and Doug handily moved, a heavy and awkward safe...out of storage, across town, and into the new house. They have the specialty tools, and obviously the experience, to handle the toughest gigs. Highly recommend.
Working in the senior living business, I get asked constantly for referrals for a moving company. Over the years, the people that I would refer to, slowly went out of business, to the point that I knew no one to personally refer. Then one day, a gentleman from New Orleans walked into my Slidell location with brochures, unannounced. The brochures sat there in a corner, unused as I quickly dismissed the idea of referring them, because it didn’t make sense to refer a New Orleans company to a Slidell family.
