We had many items damaged and many more missing on our move from Seattle to Cleveland. I immediately called while our driver was still here to report that 2 of our most expensive items were not delivered. Now United says they will not pay for these missing items because I did not alert them at time of delivery. This is totally untrue. Our boxes and furniture looked like they were never wrapped or just thrown around. Due to our location they needed to first load in a smaller truck and transfer to a larger truck.

We chose to go with CMS for our cross country move based on reviews we read on the BBB. We regret it. Initially we had a video chat with our moving coordinator who quoted us for needing 4 crates. We discussed selling several items (sectional couch, kitchen table, wine cabinet) to reduce the amount of crates needed. Before our move, our coordinator agreed that after selling so much stuff we likely would not need all 4 crates but he refused to change the # on our contract.

Movers were very rude and parked illegally. When asked to move the truck over to allow traffic through they were dismissive and told me instead to drive the wrong way down a one way road in order to get into the only parking garage in my building.

It has nearly been 1 year since my family and I utilized their services to move us from Washington state to Colorado state. Moved September 2019. I would NOT recommend them. I was quoted and told by Rex Powell that my HHG's (Household Goods) would move start to finish easily in a 53' trailer. Having nearly two decades of professional experience working in the transportation industry. I knew that what I was told was true.

I started with CMS/Mesa moving in May of 2025. We were moving from Seattle, WA to Valencia, Spain. We had them store our things (9'x9') pallet as we sorted through our visas. On October 30, 2025, I gave the thumbs up that we were ready to ship our pallet. On December 16, CMS emailed me that my items would be "consolidated into a container and is scheduled to depart trom Los Angeles on 12/28/25.

Bastri and his crew was very professional and very thorough and efficient with moving our stuff. They were very careful with all my furniture. They noted all the damages as they were coming off the truck and made notation of everything. They made sure we were happy with all the placement of the furniture before they left. I recently had Bastri and Marlowe from CMS help me with my move, and they were absolutely fantastic. They arrived on time, quickly brought my household goods to my place, and were so clean and efficient in setting everything up.
