While the movers were efficient with my possessions, they were 4 hours late. Initially, to a vehicle breakdown, but far more because they put the wrong address into the GPS and went to the wrong city. I also later noticed they scuffed some paint off my door frame. Nothing was done to make up for the extreme tardiness. The actual move didn't even take the minimum 3 hours. It was around 1.5 hours.
One of the trucks camped out in the passing lane for miles through Marysville WA. I watched no less than 10 cars having to pass on the right because he wouldn't get out of the lane. I driver truck and this is wrong and illegal. 6/14/23

We had the pleasure of using Academy Movers this week and they were exceptional! Alex, Clark, John, and Eli were quick and accommodating! They spent extra care with all my items and not a single dent or scratch on my walls! Unfortunately, I was unable to hire them for the entire move, but they were able to do a simple block of time for 4 hours and got everything I wanted moved out and within my time frame. I’d definitely book again for any future moves. Great job guys!

Academy Movers in Kent did a fantastic job with our household move. Tyler, Scott, and Cameron arrived on time, packed up our belongings with care and made the move effeciently and safely. We would definitely use them again if the need arises. The price was very reasonable and the service was great.

Overall: Grade B- for whole house packing and local move. tl;dr: They got us moved. It wasn’t the best experience. But I genuinely enjoyed getting to know the team, and the piano move went great. **Positives** The crew was helpful and service-oriented throughout. The piano move deserves special mention - they clearly knew what they were doing, had the right crew size, and executed it safely. As a classical musician, this was critical. A+ on that front.
