Major communication issues!!! First, as many describe below, they were supposed to arrive at 8:00 AM and never called to mention their delay, despite repeated calls. They finally arrived at 10:30 AM, apologizing that they had supposedly gone to the final address instead of the starting point (I understand mistakes, but a follow-up call would have been appreciated to avoid stress). Anyway, after that, the service was courteous and efficient; I wouldn't have complained if that were all.

I do not normally write reviews, but I had an extraordinarily negative experience with this company. After requesting a 10am moving appointment, I texted to confirm the appointment closer to the moving date and was informed they planned on coming between 1-3. It was too late to change movers and I was flexible, so it was not much of a problem. On the day, Dave, the owner of this company, said he would arrive at 2:15. He arrived an hour after that. He did not have any of the moving forms with him.

Thinking of using CNS for July 1st? Forget it and find yourself some real movers. We used CNS Moving for a move at the end of March. Everything was arranged, the impeccable customer service had given us a date of March 28th at 7:00 AM so we could be all set to move out of our apartment. On March 28th, at 5:00 AM, we received an email saying the move wouldn't take place because the truck wasn't available. We called them directly for answers because, with everything packed, we had no other options.

I do not recommend this company. While the movers were efficient, polite, and quick, the customer service provided by Sébastien was particularly disappointing. His attitude was arrogant and disrespectful, which, in my opinion, is unacceptable in a professional setting. The company made a scheduling error by booking two moves for the same time on the morning of April 18th. Our contract specified an 8:00 a.m. arrival… the movers didn't arrive until 4:15 p.m.

Read the negative reviews before using this company! They all describe the same: poor communication, no transparency, and problems! We hired CNS Moving & Transport (Montreal, QC) to collect, crate, and store high-value scientific equipment. After pickup, communication nearly stopped. For several weeks, they did not provide clear proof that the equipment was actually in their facility - only photos of empty crates. Then things became even more strange.

I hired CNS for a two-day inter-province move from Quebec to Ontario. The move was eventually completed, but several commitments were not fulfilled. CNS delayed the move after the assigned truck suffered a mechanical breakdown. Because the delay required an additional hotel night during the move, CNS accepted responsibility and promised in writing to reimburse the expense if I submitted the receipt. I provided the requested documentation but never received the reimbursement despite multiple follow-up requests.

We used this moving company for my mother, and let me tell you… we regret doing business with CNS Moving. First of all, on the day of the move, Saturday, July 5, 2025, they contacted us to change the moving time, which was initially scheduled from 8:00 to 11:00 AM. They showed up at 5:00 PM!!! This made us waste the entire day waiting without any follow-up. Once there, the movers complained about being tired from the previous move.

My experience with this company was unfortunately very unpleasant. I do not recommend them, given their failure to honor their commitments and, above all, their lack of communication when we most needed to be able to reach them. I had booked my move more than two weeks in advance. Before confirming, I made sure to ask several questions about the moving arrangements, and then I paid a $250 deposit.
