In their own words
I hired Le Plan Pas Con for my move at the beginning of the month. The movers were friendly, efficient, and very professional. However, the communication from Mr. Philippe Gedin, the company owner, left much to be desired. The day before my move, Mr. Gedin called me to confirm the details. When I reminded him that there was construction in front of my building, making parking impossible, he seemed very surprised. Yet, I had mentioned this information on the quote request form on his website a month earlier.
Hello Ms. Dupuis, Why are you talking nonsense, Ms. Dupuis? First, I ask you to reread your contract with us, which clearly states 3 or 4 movers. It also specifies the rates and everything else!
They didn't show up for the move and didn't even let us know. My 80-year-old parents were supposed to be waiting for you that morning, but in the end, my partner and I moved them ourselves. We hired another company for the large furniture. This isn't a mistake or a lie. And yes, I will call you.
Hello, I am truly sorry for your parents, but there is a lot of confusion about the moving company that was supposed to move them. This is not a stupid plan. I stake my entire honor and reputation on this. You must check before making accusations. Please call me. My name is Philippe Gredin.
When we called for a quote, we were told that even though they were available, they weren't interested in helping us (they said it exactly like that). We specifically requested two movers to help us unload our truck. They didn't want to wait for our afternoon arrival in Montreal, nor did they want to travel the 150 meters required by the construction on our street between the truck and the ground-floor apartment.
Hello Ms. Coté, Indeed, I told you that your contract didn't interest us or tempt us to take it on for two reasons: waiting for your truck, which would arrive too late in the afternoon for our Sherbrooke City schedule on Sunday, July 5th, and unloading the same truck on a construction site.
I took the time to add comments during the online submission, explaining that my dates were flexible, and the reply email was: "We are fully booked for this date, thank you, have a nice day." So I called, and the receptionist hung up on me without helping me, claiming he had a call from France... I'm very disappointed and even a little insulted. The plan isn't bad, in my opinion; they put an extra word in their company name... I feel like we too often forget that people deserve a minimum of respect.
Hello Madam, As I explained to you, due to a death in my family, our customer service was partially affected. I apologized then and I apologize again. Oh yes... I'm also the receptionist... who wants to tell you, Madam, that you are completely lacking in humanity and respect.
Completely unreliable. They confirmed everything with a deposit, and the day before the move they confirmed they would be there, but the next morning nothing, unable to reach anyone. Very disappointed!
Hello Ms. Chantal Gratton, We are truly sorry for the inconvenience you experienced with your move, but your message is surprising and does not concern us. We have no reservation or deposit in your name, no missed calls as of yesterday (May 26 or 27, 2025), and we have never canceled or forgotten a…

In their own words
Excellent service. Communication with them before the move to book and confirm was very good. On moving day, the movers arrived on time, were efficient and friendly. They were very careful when handling the boxes and furniture. I recommend them without hesitation.
Thanks Marianne It's much appreciated Philippe THE NOT-SO-STUPID PLAN -Moving-
I've used Le Plan Pas Con for two of my moves in the past three years and I couldn't be happier. The process was smooth and the movers were friendly, all for a very reasonable price. RECOMMEND! This was my first time work with a professional moving company, and I honestly could not have asked for a better experience. Five stars may be the limit on Google, I want to give them 100 stars if possible. From the very beginning, communication was clear, easy, and reassuring. The team arrived right on time, fully prepared, and ready to work. The moment they entered my apartment, they immediately knew exactly what to do.
Thank you, Jerry, for the beautiful stars and the wonderful review. It was a pleasure to help with your move. I must say, your preparation was perfect. That's what made the move so easy and efficient. Furthermore, your involvement and that of your friend made the move even faster.
Absolutely perfect! I got 3 guys, moving my stuff in a 3 story building with NO ELEVATOR. They moved everything in 1.5 hours : loading the truck, drive to the other address and unloading again. I was shocked ! Very professional, good listener, and kind people. They did took care of everything just like it’s theirs. Philippe is great at communication and reassure me about all my fears. He will give you all the instructions when you submit your request.
Thanks Karen, Philippe THE NOT-SO-BAD PLAN -Moving-
