Gentlemen Movers – September 26 move, deeply disappointing Two movers instead of the three promised. Upon arrival, a damaged TV stand: broken door, four broken wheels. A repair was promised for the following Saturday, but it was never done. No follow-up whatsoever. The company disclaims all responsibility: the repair was allegedly done "without their consent," the stand was "old," and the damage was "minimal." The stress was supposedly due to "excessive" stock, which was calculated and paid for in excess.
Let's put things in context, because clearly, telling the truth wasn't in your best interest! 1. There were indeed two of us moving, and I explicitly explained why on the day: I simply made a typo in my message!
The movers were nice, but inexperienced and unprofessional. They refused to carry several of our pieces of furniture up the stairs, claiming they wouldn't fit, without even measuring them or the stairwell itself. We had to insist a bit, and finally everything fit. We had to remove the appliance doors and furniture legs ourselves, whereas other companies do this for their clients.
Hello, I don't quite understand this negative review, and in particular, I can't find you in my records. Perhaps you've contacted the wrong company? I would appreciate it if you could contact me by email or Facebook, where we discussed things, so we can discuss this further.
A bunch of clowns who forget their original clients and are gentlemen in name only. One day, they showed up late (they'd already changed the date with some excuse). The third time, they canceled two hours before (they'd confirmed that very morning that they'd be there) because they wanted to finish early. We were forced to find another mover with only two hours' notice... Fantastic! In short, this is the last time we'll use these so-called gentlemen.
Thanks for this very constructive (read: "crazy") comment. So, if I understand you correctly, you called three "clowns" to give you a hand? Either you enjoy torturing yourself, or (let's remain polite) you're not yet connected to LTE (and I'm not talking about your cell phone...).
Following my poor review of the services I received from this company today, I was subjected to enormous criticism, insults, and even threats from the owner of "Les Gentlemen déménageurs," Steve. This needs to be reported and even investigated. I have kept all of this man's hateful messages, and checks will be carried out shortly regarding his unfounded claims about me. Honesty and integrity always prevail! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY! Beware!
Used their services on my last move. I was supposed to get 3 guys, but only 2 showed up. Had to call to get a third guy to show up. They did not use blankets to cover my furniture and pushed boxed around on it in the truck.. so of course, the top of my wood furniture is all scratched. They also made larger chips and dents in some of it. At least they were nice guys, but I would not recommend.
Hi, could you please remind us your FULL NAME and the DATE of your moving? I'm pretty sure you mixed up with another company... We are always 3 movers in the truck (except for small moves or so), so it's seems to be weird... Are you sure you hired us?
I think they have some work to do on the scheduling. I made an appointment a month in advance and explained my time constraints. On moving day, I decided not to come after being told they would be more than an hour late. I'm glad I cancelled because they would have been over three hours late in the end, and I would have missed my commitments.
Before you try to lecture us on "planning," as you say (you know, the snob), let's put things into context. - I contacted you today, very quickly, and immediately saw that we were going to be late.

On the enthusiastic recommendation of a friend, I used Gentlemen Movers for a small move. Their rates were very reasonable, and the planning was quick and easy. Steve and his employee Mathieu worked efficiently and carefully, and they were also incredibly friendly! They never made me feel like a distressed woman. That's what makes the difference between just adequate movers and excellent ones.

A very good first experience with Steve and his team. Communication was very efficient (quick and precise). My move was scheduled for the end of the day. Unfortunately, the people before me hadn't managed their move very well. I was kept informed at every stage and of any potential delays. Steve told me there would be a significant delay and ultimately decided to come and do my move and then return to the other client (their day must have ended around 11 pm/midnight in 35-degree heat!).
