Coleman American Moving Services, Inc.

We were assigned Coleman Allied by the military. When they packed our stuff it was ok but they didn’t remove items from shelves and everything. They just packed it paper and called it good. They took hand trucks down our brand new oak stairs which severely damaged them. They that crammed stuff in crates without any care. Our brand new dining table was damaged because they didn’t wrap it in any way. We just received our household goods shipment last week from TX to Hi and tons of our stuff is mysteriously missing.

First their paper was saying different weight with what our paper was saying so thats where the caos started and one of the packing team member was very rude the way he was talking to me was very disrespectful.he didnt understand what we were saying and kept cutting us off when we talk and he just kept saying same thing over and over again so we decided to stop talking to him about the problem and telling him what we want cause he didnt seem like he understand.

BEWARE of this company! I received an estimate from Michael Chase for the move. I was to receive 3 packers for 3 days. Day one, 2 packers, day two, 3 packers for 2 hours and packing was completed. No adjustments to the price for less time packing and for number of packers. Supplies; number of boxes in the estimate was for 91 and only 56 used. No adjustments for less supplies. I called my sales representative Michael Chase and was told he would check with the office and call me back.

1. Very poor packing/loading staff. They put all different stuff in one big wardrobe box (while they had many smaller boxes) just because they were EXHAUSTED. The crew didn't understand my contract correctly and kept warning me that extra box will be my out-of-pocket, whereas it was promised to be no extra charge unless I have more stuff compared to the time they were measured (I had less!). They didn't even come with the covers for the mattress and box spring and loaded them as they were.

After paying the instant quote deposit I received a new quote at double the price. Ended up moving everything for less than their original quote.

This is going to be a long one. We are a military family, we were stationed in Fort Rucker AL, my husband received orders for Germany, Coleman was the moving company assigned to us. In April, they came and packed our HHG and took them, 2 items were broken in the process and they left packing paper and tape all over my house (not that big of a deal just a little irritating).

I dislike having to write negative reviews but feel everyone be warned. Moving your items is a huge deal. Here is an outline of the issues: -damage to new home -broken/damaged many items (2 beds, jewelry stand, doll house, dining chairs, and more) -missing maaaany parts (pegs, screws) So many of our things are scratched and there are things we still can't find but at least those are small ones compared to everything else.

Office was hard to work with. They notified us our goods would not be delivered after 3 hours of waiting for them to show up. They didn't bother to notify us but I had to call to find out. Then day of delivery they told us the didnt have time to unpack even though they had me put on paper work that they did. They said they didn't have the time and would have to come back another day.
