In their own words
*** BEWARE OF USING THIS COMPANY *** We were sold a professional move from Houston to Denver in late May 2022 with a total moving fee of $11,099. What did we get for $11,099? 98% of our furniture is now damaged and pages of items missing with ZERO inventory control at the destination. The day started with the crew chief calling us “fat”. When he was pulled aside and told he either get it together or get out, we think we know why our entire move was damaged, items stolen, and others missing.
Andy, thank you for the feedback! We regret to see that your recent relocation did not achieve expectations and that you incurred some damaged. We do see that you are in the middle of the claims process and regret any inconvenience with that.
Absolutely unacceptable experience. Movers arrived 3 HOURS late with a crew that wasn’t even assigned to our move — they were pulled from warehouse work last minute because of the company’s complete lack of planning. The loading process was painfully slow, wasting our entire day. Because of their delays, our cleaners had to cancel since the apartment wasn’t empty, and we lost $250 due to their incompetence. We chose this Houston-based company expecting professionalism and reliability — we got neither.
Coleman, Moved us from Houston to Edmond took apart our beds and dining room table. Lost all the hardware. It has been 11 days and no response. Damaged the leg of the table and told us that per the contract anything they damage we have to pay for!! Do not use!!
Several High dollar items went missing when I went to get lunch for packing crews. Claims services denied my claim without viewing my house camera footage.
Spencer, we shared this internally for review. We regret your move did not meet expectations.
If I could put zero stars, I would. These movers were the ABSOLUTE WORST. We moved from LA to TX. When the movers arrived to pack our stuff from our old house it took two days and they left all of my vases as well as countless other items because they either overlooked them or could not fit them in their truck. Towards the end of the second day they were accusing us of finding more things to pack (as if we went to the store and just bought a whole bunch of stuff just to make it harder on them).
Melissa, we regret to hear that your expectations were not met with our services. We have shared your concerns with local management for further review. We do appreciate your feedback.
We have had the WORSE experience with Coleman Allied (Houston). Let me preface this by saying the men that moved and unpacked our items were great...friendly and professional but that's where the accolades end. My husband, a 20-year Veteran of the US Army, had furniture/goods in storage after retiring and being moved from Upstate New York. On June 13, he requested his furniture/goods from storage, items from our current home picked up and everything delivered to our new home.
Absolutely terrible experience. Awful customer service. Every time I needed to call, I had to go through both a phone menu and a human operator who was often not available. They would then transfer me 3-4 times to different departments, each asking for all of my information every time. For instance, when I called just to have my boxes picked up (which they didn’t unpack), I ended up being transferred to someone in Colorado (I’m in Texas and originally called the Texas number) who obviously couldn’t help me.
Manny is who we worked with for booking. He was great. The packers were not. The boxes weren't labeled correctly AT ALL. They didn't listen to instructions AT ALL. We told them not to pack bedding because we needed it that night. They packed it and we had to open box after box looking for the bedding. We never found our pillows. When we got to our new home, my pillow was rolled into a nightstand drawer, and had somehow gotten dirty like it had been run over.

In their own words
Very highly recommend Coleman Allied Movers!! The initial quote was handled quickly and very professionally. We were able to schedule our move at a good value and as convenient to us. Carmeasha did a great job communicating with us. The moving crew was exceptionally professional, and they worked very hard with a smile. We were very happy with the whole process. Many thanks, and very well done, Ramiro, Carmeasha, Reuben, and crew!!!
Thank you for your great 5-star review, Sarah! We are thrilled the whole team was able to give you a stress-free, professional experience.
Elizabeth and Cameisha were an absolute pleasure to work with. They are both efficient, very personable, customer focussed, transparent and followed up promptly with all our questions. Highly recommend working with both Elizabeth and Cameisha. A further update. Our shipment arrived from our interstate move and everything was accounted for and in perfect shape. Movers were efficient and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything assembled and exactly where it needed to be.
David, thank you for the kind words. We're happy your experience went well, and we are happy to share with Elizabeth and the rest of our team! Thank you for choosing Coleman Worldwide Moving!
I would highly recommend Coleman Allied Moving Services! We just moved out of state from Houston to Arizona. This was my 12th move over the years and I can say without a doubt, this was the best move by far - from beginning to end! Consultant, Manny Contreras who came out to give us the estimate set the tone. He was very personable and knowledgeable. Our packers Kevin Stark and his wife and son were awesome! They showed up right when they said they would and were so efficient and kind.
Thank you for this excellent review! We will share this with the team.
I had a great experience with my cross country move. Elizabeth Orton moving consultant was very helpful, kind, efficient, knowledgeable, and gave a competitive quote. I had to update my inventory and get a new quote a few times, and Elizabeth always had a positive attitude and was so patient and easy to work with. Carmeasha Stanley move coordinator provided very clear instructions on how to pay and accurate arrival dates and times as to when the driver was going to pick up and deliver my items.
Thank you, Alice! Elizabeth, Carmeasha, and Ralph appreciate your kind words. We're glad we could provide a great moving experience for you.
