Allied/ Coleman Movers. I do NOT recommend Allied Coleman, dealing with them has been extremely stressful and resulted in some of my precious belongings being damaged. Being a retired Naval officer, I have moved 14 times in my 30 career. Most moves have gone seamlessly, even the overseas ones. That all ended with this most recent move from SC to FL. Our initial contact with Allied was quite pleasant with a reasonable quote and the promise of personal, hands on service and a pledge to be there throughout the move.

I had a very poor experience with Coleman Allied which started with the movers being 4 hours late. When the guys arrived, they started to pack my things but noticed that they had no shrink wrap. The movers guaranteed that my things would be shrink wrapped at the wearhouse and even offered to take a picture. After 8 days of following up, i never received a picture and my things arrived in michigan with no shrink wrap.

This is the worst most unprofessional moving company i have ever had to deal with when you call and leave multiple messages you get no response then when you do get a response a couple weeks later they say that it just left the warehouse when asked why they have no answer so due to their laziness and unprofessional my family has been without our stuff for over a month and who knows how long it will take them to get it here i would NEVER recommend this company.

In July 2025 I contracted Allied Van Lines to move my inventory of professionally packed (fragile) art CLEARLY MARKED 'EXTREMELY FRAGILE ' and other personal belongings. The sales rep from Coleman Moving/Allied assured me that there would be no issues following my handling instructions. The day of the move the movers started grabbing boxes and tossing/piling them every which way into huge cardboard bins on wheels, disregarding the FRAGILE signs. Meanwhile the truck was being packed like sardines.

Tried to overcharge me. Then lost my dining table, a $3200 item their driver admired at loading. They refused to replace it despite I had the best insurance and video of them unloading the truck showing it never arrived. If you really want your stuff, don't use these guys. Just dishonest.

Too many details to post. Moral of the story is they tell you one thing, have you sign another. When you ask to make sure your signing the correct contract they continue to lie to you. Then when your expecting the correct price you discussed they do not take any responsibility and all they say is "you signed a contract, sorry they must have confused it with the other contract. However you signed it.

RUN FROM THIS COMPANY!! Absolutely horrible in every way! We packed our boxes ourselves. Allied Coleman simply had to move our furniture items and the packed boxes. We downsized our home in Tampa to move our mom to Pensacola. The remaining items were to be moved to our home in Alabama. The move was scheduled for pick up in Tampa on June 11, 2024 and drop off in Pensacola/Alabama on Friday June 14, 2024. The movers arrived at 9 AM on June 11 in Tampa with NO TOOLS. They did not know what they were doing.

We used Coleman Moving Services from this location (part of Allied) for our move from Florida to Georgia on February 28, 2024. The total cost of our move was $14,000. Chris Vaugh, our adjuster, assured us that all items listed in our quote would fit on the semi-truck. On February 28, the driver confirmed that all items packed two days prior would fit on his truck.
