Two Men and a Truck Moving

Terrible experience (they made me feel that I am working for them) : Poor service and unprofessional staff, broke kitchen stuff, damaged furniture and walls when they were moving the furniture, staff was not nice, did not do his job, he was very slow, left my stuff in the street and he did not carry them, he refused to carry some boxes bcz they are empty, moved my tvs w/o boxes I gave to him and he did not use any box to protect my tv.

They stole some boxes off the truck without me knowing until it was too late and I found out after I had to pay them to get the rest of the boxes off the truck that they took for hostage. Then when I saw what was left while decorating my Christmas tree half of my imported European hand painted Christmas ornaments were gone! I reported it to them and they said they go by weight. Well these ornaments are quite delicate and are very light. So they gave me NO money what so ever for them.

Just moved today. My wife and I have used Two Men and a Truck at least 6 times in the last 10 years, always happy. Last time was 2 years ago, day of went well but 2 weeks later a manager from the company called to inform me one of the workers who was given a cash tip added extra tip unauthorized to my credit payment, that it would be refunded and the matter dealt with. Lo and behold, I still chose to use this company because of past great experiences.

Moving company broke my dining room table and has not resolved issue in 2 weeks. No guarantee when it will be resolved. Broke dining room table Oct 3th. Had to wait till Oct 10 for operations manager Matt to come back from vacation, no one else can help me resolve issue while he was on vacation. Oct 9th they just glued the broken piece together and tried to say it was repaired and new. Their employees new it was not satisfactory and understood my frustration.

I’m so disappointed as the reviews seemed so good! There were some red flags from the get-go: the quote person spent all of 5 minutes at our place, the office manager didn’t get me a quote back on the day they were supposed to, price was high, communication was lacking. However, we really needed our things immediately and I couldn’t find another moving company that takes your things directly to secondary location. We were moving from Tampa to Nashville and under the gun to get up there.

I have used Two Men and a Truck multiple times over the years, and until now I always found their crews to be professional, friendly, and efficient. Unfortunately, my most recent experience completely changed my opinion of the company. During my last move — from one condo to another within the same building — the crew damaged my Samsung TV beyond repair.

I would write this zero stars if there were a zero spot. The corporate office in Lansing Michigan could not care less. Also, Ryan, the manager of the office for this location was rude, inconsiderate, and does not care about client satisfaction. The two movers who arrived (there to be 3) left their breakfast in my residence from where I was moving and left a giant ball of plastic that literally would not fit out the door, they put a hole in the wall.

This was basically a nightmare moving experience for me. It started with the estimator. He barely said a word, especially compared to the pro I had come out from Brothers, who was communicative, helpful and knowledgeable. But I went w 2 Men for the price. It was the classic you get exactly what you pay for. The crew, although hard working, was EXTREMELY unprofessional. There were red flags from the moment they walked in.
