Coleman Hawaii Movers

The supervisor was rude and they packed my car keys. When asked if they could check if the packed them the supervisor said no cause he had somewhere to go and refused to open the crate that contained my keys. I then had to tow my car to the dealership and pay to get a new key programmed for my vehicle. Once my items were delivered I ended up missing about 1k dollars worth of shoes. I will never move with Coleman movers again!

Easily the worst experience I've ever had moving which includes 12 moves for my own stuff and countless other times I've been involved in friends and roommates moves. Bookshelves were moved by wrapping them in tape with the books still in them? No wardrobe boxes were used? Our hanging clothes, including suits and uniforms that were in hanging bags, were folded up and stuffed into what was labeled a "wardrobe" box. All of my wife's dresses were in the same box as well which included shoes at the bottom?

I’ve been calling these clowns for over a week to come pick up boxes that they are contracted to pick up. Call, make appointments for them to pick up but get no-showed every time. Can you say bye bye government contract?!!!!! Start looking for another job.

We recently moved and the military booked this company (we didn’t hire them personally). My biggest complaints are that they did NOT cover our dining room table to its chipped all over the edges, they chipped my entertainment center in multiple places because it was NOT WRAPPED and they lost a screw for the shelf, they STUFFED my ottoman with random objects…, a table and bench were screwed SO tightly that ALL of the bolts are STRIPPED and the inner nut plates are COMING OUT WITH THE SCREWS!

As a military spouse, moving is one of the most difficult things we go through besides the deployments and long distance. I am extremely disappointed with how my move went from start to finsh. I am soley talking about how my stuff was taken, as the people who gave it to our currant location was a whole different company. I had to use coleman twice for our moves, and trust me, it would NEVER be my first choice. However, in the military there is no picking, so we were stuck with them not once but twice.

On December 5th, they came to drop off my unaccompanied baggages which were supposed to be 5 boxes. Mind you I live in the dorms. They asked me if I need help unpacking, I said yes. They came up with a whole pallet, dropped it big box in the middle of the room while the one in charged is rushing me to sign the paper. I was left disappointed but I brushed it off. Then I spent 10 mns trying to open that big box to get to my actual boxes… when I opened it, only one box was mine.

Bottom line Up Front: If you have been awarded this company call JPSSO and decline immediately! Believe the reviews on Yelp and other sites. 15 years in the army and this is the first of a kind experience with moving. It is easy to identify that this company manipulates the system to overbook their capacity and extort their employees to meet deadlines. Example, for 13,000 lbs the company is awarded the contract and allotted 3 days to pack and 1 day to ship, 4 total days.

Update: received a check for the remote (just the cost of the remote, not the tax or shipping to have it sent to me)..... but doesn't change the rest of the negative experience with this company, still wouldn't recommend them. After being in the Military for nearly 7 years then moving a few times as a civilian, this was by far the worst move I have ever experienced.
